I'm all for freedom of protest but outside rioting this is one of the shittiest ways to do it. They are probably and most likely inconviencing people that agree with them. Then we got dumb people in the world too. Someone who didn't really have an opinion on the matter now hates that side cause they got inconvenienced

Someone somewhere is always going to find some sort of protest to be inconvenient for them.

If not the drivers on the highway, it will be the drivers on the road stuck in traffic. Or the pedestrians on the road that have to take a detour.

15 minutes would be ideal for me, but I'm willing to go up to 30 minutes.

If it was a work hybrid situation where I'm there a few days a week, I could probably get fine with 45 minutes if really needed.

I've had commutes of 15 minutes these last few years.
Before that I had a 45 minute commute (all in toll roads! An hour if no toll) that was fucking horrible.

Yeah I'm fine with that. As long as it's understood that a specific type of housing shouldn't be expected.
As in, it might be apartments, sfh, dormitory type stuff, etc. Whatever makes sense for the location and environment

This type of warehouse job is very labor intensive. Higher wages and better working conditions would improve the available worker pool, but it's still a very labor intensive industry.

I'm curious how much further automation can do in the industry. It's done a lot already, but what are the future expectations.

My point was that the only way Democrats know how to care about something is spending money on it. Republicans do that too, to a lesser extent. However most of the good economic conditions we saw under the previous regime was a result of slashing regulation, which is another Republican priority

The previous admin also printed tons of money and added tariffs (which sadly, the Biden admin has not worked on removing).

I'm for removing bad regulations that harm more than they help, but the previous admins economic impact was based on much more than the few regulations they might have removed.

It's very easy to get people to vote against their material interests. One thing we should all understand is that above a certain point, people will absolutely vote against material interests, in favor of personal and cultural interests.

Main issue is really agriculture, at least with Arizona. Water usage in Phoenix for example is like 10% for residential I think, with 80% being used for agriculture.

Even if this is true, it'd be a reach to call it "hypocrisy." People can live a lifestyle and change over time. There are many advocates who became anti-abortion because they understood the pain it brought; just look at at Abby Johnson.

Still, it just goes to show that insiders are so afraid of a newer GOP, that they're willing to engage in shameless character assassination attempts instead of focusing on the actual issues.

I don't see why everyone is saying not to eat it. I regularly leave out whatever meat I'm going to cook for supper all day while I'm at work. I'll sit it out about 7 in the morning and it'll be 7 or 8 or 9 at night before I get home. Nothing has ever happened to me from eating it anyway.

Closest oh shit moment I had was when I was driving from Colorado to Texas. Back in 2020, the Trinidad, CO to Amarillo, TX leg was exactly 240 miles between superchargers. We charged to 100% at Trinidad and got to Amarillo with 1 mile left . This was in winter with temps between 8-20F also.

There is now a supercharger in a city between those 2 locations though. And honestly, I did research before and read that there was an RV site in the middle as well so if I was really worried, I could have found a spot to get a few more miles. I just drove below 70 though and it was fine.

If I have a later boarding group I feel the same way. When I'm one of the first groups though, having to navigate through everyone is annoying
