Again, my initial comment was broad. "It's only natural colonizing and invading forces have each others backs" claims that invaders side with invaders. I'm not saying that the US and UK have always aligned everywhere. I didn't say we naturally side with each other. Just that asshole countries are likely to understand, and side with other asshole countries.

They don't have to agree. The US lets the UK do what the UK does without much, if any, condemnation. The UK lets the US do what we have done without much, if any, condemnation. Why? Because it would be calling the kettle black.

Interestingly enough unlike America most countries don't let you literally walk across the border and reeee if someone tries to tell you to go home. Any worthwhile country will require you to actually be a skilled worker in a job they actively need people for.

Which is fine. I mean I work for a global company with branches in Germany, Brussels, Japan, and so many other places. We are only 500 people strong at most and work with pharmaceuticals.

But again, there's a psychological way to look at it too. If this was an abduction, I'd be like "Yes, standard cannibalism with an unwilling victim" but there is something interesting about the story not just over the fact this guy asked for a victim alone.... which is already weird in itself, but that there was a victim willing.

Yeah. See, this whole story with him ...... not amused me, but interested me? ..... Because I've always assessed things from a more psychological level than an emotional level. Like, trying to be in the mind of the assailant, thinking how he was trying to potentially do this through what he assumed would be legal, what holdbacks he had, what he thought he had to gain and so on.

I mean, lots of life forms were born to be dinner too. We breed animals for food. In nature, animals are killed daily by other animals. If humanity didn't grow to the societal way that we have, we wouldn't be at the top of the food chain by any means and would be born to eventually be killed by other animals or even starving humans so they could live. The fact humanity has developed the way we did..... it's honestly unnatural and took many years and ages of killing outselves to get here.

All in all, I dug deeper into the story back in 2017. I don't remember everything anymore but again, it's just an interesting one to think about.
