Are the physics as crazy in K2 as they were in 6? Shelves in the convenience stores would explode just from walking down the aisle. It was great.

Elden Ring

A fight stick. I didn't expect to immediately be as good with it as I was with a controller, but I thought it would be fun. But after a couple months I'm still not even halfway decent with it, and I find it uncomfortable and annoying to use.

Kind of dumb to put out a list when Elden Ring hasnt even left the honeymoon phase. And they still put it too low.

Id definitely recommend it if youre enjoying the game, its got some absolutely insane boss fights and cool areas. Many of the most fun weapons in the game are only obtainable via the DLC too. Also lots of lore stuff if youre into that.

Elden Ring has considerably better combat while also being more interesting to explore. I think its much more exciting to find a completely new weapon or spell instead of just another korok seed. Elden Ring just has way more variety in content. I can see myself replaying ER to try different builds, whereas I had no incentive to ever replay BotW because once youve explored the world, theres not much left pulling you in.

BotW does have puzzles, but most of them were pretty simple. That said, the physics and systems interactions and everything were really cool. But overall I really prefer Elden Ring.

Just a heads up, make sure you do the dlc before doing the final boss, or youll have to play through the majority of new game+ to not be underleveled for it

Lol I missed the church at the beginning so I went 13 hours without weapon upgrades or crafting. I went back figuring i must have missed something obvious at that point lol

Im doing dex/int because I liked the prisoners funny helmet but is that a worthwhile build in this game in terms of cool weapons and stuff? I usually just do quality builds and its already getting annoying that I lack the strength for most interesting weapons I find, wondering if I should just switch gears while Im still fairly early in

Oh wow. Yeah this really doesnt seem like some joke. Like obviously the doesnt deserve human rights is an exaggeration but she definitely is pretty disdainful, I can understand the cancelling. Seems pretty fair tbh

I'd say both, honestly? I was extremely invested in both the characters and the overarching plot.

There are a lot of bigger mysteries to the game, especially if you go in as blind as possible. I wouldn't look anything up about it, because the game leaves you to figure a lot out, and there are some very satisfying mysteries throughout.

Ah good to know, sounds like its the best of both worlds! Definitely trying to go in as blind as possible, made that mistake with Higurashi just by casually browsing the VN subreddit haha

Ive heard great things and am looking forward to playing it. From the little Ive gathered it seems like its more of a character driven VN than a plot driven one, is that the case? I prefer the latter, especially if theres a mystery element, but definitely plan to check it out regardless.
