it really is nonsensical tbh, like if a user was troublesome enough to get suspended or put in purgatory under one account doesnt that mean theyre problematic enough to have all their accounts put on halt? Its not like the person is magically a better user under their other accounts, and if anything it encourages more derailing of threads and shittalking in general because the crowd obviously has to get their digs in at suspended users posting on numerous alts to bypass suspensions

I had more friends in my younger days but as I got older I really didnt get the same out of being on friendly terms with a whole group of people. These days my only friends are a set of twins who are like brother and sister to me and one other guy who Im very close too, I see no need to have more friends than I have because I know the level of closeness I already have with these 3 I probably wont have with anyone else and thats more important to me than just being friendly with someone.

Im torn, on one hand I can see why it would be YUM but part of it feels YUCK too

I was talking to one about the Yankees/Mets game yesterday, I said a joke that made them laugh and they randomly said something about how they wished that I was their little brother growing up as maybe their childhood would have turned out better. (WTF?) I told them was everything okay? Was your childhood rough? They just sighed and said it wasn't bad and that there was some good moments but sometimes they just wondered how different things would have been if they had a sibling back then and then went back to work.

Then there's was this one, we literally only talked about how bipolar this weather has been before they came out of no where and said how I must have been a girl in my previous life (??????), I asked them "wtf do you mean by that?" and they wouldn't elaborate and further, just keep saying that they just felt in my last life before I died that I must have been a girl. Sure if we were to simplify his entire politics down into that one debate it's a lot more simple, but juding a person on a single 2 hour debate on a single issue and making inferences about the rest of their politics is dumb as shit.
