I like the approach. There's character development in the past memories for Zelda and even Link that most games in the franchise don't attempt. Doesn't get in the way of the game too.

Disagree on Skyrim. It's also been 10+ years the hype could be insane. BotW2 is on the same platform and looks kinda same-y so far. We'll see though.

The first one is the one I'm nostalgic for. It did suck, but I was always disappointed the "sequels" were just beat em ups.

Did you ever have a problem doing the side objectives? I've had a few very annoying missions when you have to follow someone for a full conversation. And I don't like collecting the rare animals!

It made my last 20 hours of trophy hunting very annoying! But for about 120-130 hours amazing game.

AW should have just made sure to have animations showing no one really dies.

Kinda didn't like the zelda-esque Dark vs Light theme in a sci fi setting either.

I don't see it getting a complete anime with s3 still so far away.

I thought some of their other skits were lame but that was pretty good

I feel like some of the upgrades you get from the story dungeons make exploring more fun. Like the high jump one.

A lot of the music sounded the same, so much that it was a chore to play through some of the songs - and by the way, you have to play every song on every difficulty to get the platinum trophy. And then grind even more to hit 100,000 enemies!

Ugh and then they have the audacity to make the in-game 100% impossible because they want you to get a million points when you get like 200 per song. Even after grinding for the plat and going for other challenges you'll still end up with less than half the score.
