My point is it has a legacy of being one of the worst movies when no one cares that almost all of the other first entries are worse because they all got redemption rounds. No one would be talking about how much they didn't like it if we got pay off on the Leader or a Planet Hulk movie. Notice how no one talks about how absolutely awful Captain America is? You might think that, but Im guessing most people prefer Captain America to Incredible Hulk. Myself included. I think most people can appreciate a series while pointing out the weak movies. Give me Incredible Hulk over Thor, though. The first two Thor movies suck, IMO. Iron Man, Guardians of the Galaxy, and Shang Chi are the only movies in the MCU that actually nailed it right out of the gate. Everything else had to wait at least one sequel to get its stride. Hulk never got that opportunity. While that may be true, it doesnt change the fact that it was a bad movie (compared to the rest of the MCU). I was looking into it a bit too much of Slippin Jimmy getting an itch again, and it came with the added benefit of gaining leverage. He is a schemer for sure, but whenever hed rob someone, it would seemingly be a means of tricking them into willingly giving him their stuff. When he an Marco swindle people, its with tricks. They are given the money. Jimmy and Kim trick Ken into buying them $50 shots. Jimmy manipulates the residents of Sandpiper to agree to the payout. Flat out robbery just doesnt suit him, IMO. Agree? My brother is the head chef at a restaurant, so hes the manager in the kitchen. He has told me that while the other cooks/chefs dont make minimum wage, a lot of them need to have 2-3 jobs to make ends meet. Because they are working multiple jobs, they cannot dedicate themselves to one job and earn promotions. Steel was the only one seriously tackling the idea of Superman and what he meant as a symbol to the people, as something worth preserving, while also bringing that underdog energy to the comic that isn't usually present. Well, Steel was the one who displayed the soul of Superman. But Id say that the Eradicator was the only one that was really unhinged. Cyborg was just going around and saving people, claiming to have memory loss. He only showed himself to be unhinged when he revealed himself as the big bad. And Superboy isnt really unhinged, he acts more like a teenager who suddenly has Supermans powers a little full of himself, but he wants to do good and he is having growing pains along the way.
