Not what the Judge was saying. Judge was saying the relationship deteriorated and that that was on both sides. He didn't say the guy deserved to get assaulted over it. the case is in family court and not criminal so they usually examine the relationships, as is the law. Although this takes place in the UK so i'm sure they have a different rule set over there. Also I'm pretty sure both sides have been in and out of criminal court since they mention it at the end of the article, so who knows what else happened between them.
