In all seriousness, you don't need a book to learn react. The react doc's and quick Start are more than enough

I haven't read them, but the subject matter on some of them is a bit dated or generally unpopular. Angular hasn't been used much in the last 5 or so years, and php is an abomination that nobody should use.

Interesting. In S3, despite being the baddy for three seasons Terrorblade is killed just like that. Epic battle tho. And then a world reset by the Invoker. Very interesting.

SotN does it really well. You feel super powerful at the very beginning, then as the game goes on you eventually feel more powerful than ever even though the enemies/bosses get stronger

The other piece of that is if you're backtracking to an earlier area, you don't care about the enemies at all. They're obstacles (or tools) for movement, not health.

I still need to go back and try tower of oannes too.

Scaling enemies is bad game design

Agreed. One of the cases I'm particularly bitter about is the sequel to one of my favorite metroidvanias. It has an internal score system that progresses as you complete more of the game, and the higher that score value is, the more and harder enemies are on each screen, and the more health each remaining boss has. It completely ruins the experience.

Also, as far as characters go, Kaden, Marci, and fymryn are original to the show. I'm not sure about mene, or invoker's daughter (might be non hero lore). Mirana, Luna, Davion, invoker, Lina, terrorblade, winter wyvern, crystal maiden (rylai) are all from the game. Marci was added to the game after the anime released.

Book 2 is bad, but book 3 is incredible

Super on the dread engine would be awful. I don't want them to touch super because the magic of that game is created by its glitches and movement tech

I gotta say, blasphemous is interesting to me because it controls like shit, but more than makes up for that with its world design. Not level design, that's generic and boring too, but the world and the art is exceptional.

The combat is dull and the movement doesn't make up for it due to the level design.

Axiom has better movement with diffuser bug canceling. Dust has air special momentum canceling (sundered used to before it was patched out). La mulana is even more interesting, despite being drastically slower, due to rain dropping.

I mean that the lead up and aftermath of ww2 is largely a problem of propaganda and preying on economic disasters in the wake of ww1. I admittedly don't know much about the Japanese political climate in the 30s, but the German propaganda machine is directly responsible for the rise of the nazis, US propaganda absolved us for our treatment of Japanese citizens as well as our usage of the bomb, and basically the entire European theater is a huge tangled mess where shifty actions in the wake of ww1 led to fascists having a pretty free path to power.

I didn't know that, but that still looks like shit compared to just having the devices be linked in the first place, not to mention the value of having a single receiver for two outputs.

The glue came out of my most recent earbuds that held the paper cap over the driver, so I need to start looking for new ones. Unfortunately, it seems like most new earbuds don't have the hooks or wire between them, I like that design because if they slip or get knocked loose, the earbuds just stay in place. Additionally, if I need to interact with someone, I don't need to reach for my phone or the control unit, I just slip the earbuds out of my ear and can still hear music, but not to the exclusion of a conversation.

I don't want to get airpods or true wireless stuff, I like this weird hybrid crap, and wish it was still being made.

Anker Soundcore Spirit X earbuds for when I'm on the move, AT ATH-MX50 headphones for at home. The audiotechnicas are wired, the Ankers are wireless, but have a joining cable.

I would highly recommend taking the time to learn C or a C based language, because learning with python or with fully dynamic languages takes away a lot of the context around memory, allocation, and data structures, as well as the difference between value and reference in terms of passing args.

I fucking hate python. Very unpleasant language to code in. I do most of my work in c# and typescript, but wouldn't hate going back to working in c++ if I had time to relearn it.

about 6k coming up at the end of october, and another 30k or so next april or march. But on the flip side, if the economy crashes, that's worth substantially less. I don't want to have to decide if I dislike my job enough to pass up on 30k.

fuck cardio. I lift 3 days a week and just walk everywhere I can for errands and things. Cardio can still suck it though.
