I know how Gambit's powers work. I still think he thematically doesn't fit, but I've been outvoted & that's fine. I never considered the X-Men sci-fi personally. While there are elements of that, there are also fantasy, supernatural, & horror elements. Comics tend to be a mishmash like that-- you could call the Avengers sci-fi, and if you nominated someone like Iron Man I wouldn't balk. |
