On the subject, I wonder where Matt Sloan has been? I always liked his Darth Vader, but he hasn't been used for games or other media since like 2017.

And it's not like JEJ did all of Vader's voice in the interim. There have even been comedic LEGO Star Wars stuff where Vader was voiced by others.

I always figured he's been the primary voice since TFU and Soul Calibur.

But it's still wild that he got the job in the first place. For a YouTube parody to get that much recognition by the IP holders in was pretty crazy for the late 00s.

The Zelda timeline has only made me hate fan theories more than I already did. It's basically just them grasping at straws to tie everything together, using vague connections that often aren't even present in the games.

The beginning was kind of a pain. I died several times at the lightning gauntlet before the Zora city. After the boss, I didn't die once

Also, the narrative that the majority of anti-G4 people have made (like in the topic title) is hilarious. G4 shouldn't be a thing, but the nonexistent reasons people have come up with why they think it's failing is pretty ridiculous.

They could have brought back the entire lineup of hosts (including The Screen Savers hosts), and G4 still wouldn't be worth watching. I'd wager having younger personalities is the way to go if you want to be successful in a contemporary setting, but either way, G4's format itself just isn't contemporary in general.

I love Breath of the Wild cause I've always felt that the dungeons were the worst parts of Zelda games

I kind of had to mentally prepare myself before having to do them because there was this overwhelming sense of being a slog.

It's a remaster of a game that was a PSP exclusive. A lot of people didn't get to play this, and there's not a lot of actual development that needed to be done to it

I'm playing this off and on right now. The description did it for me, and I didn't recognize the gacha screenshot at first

I did not like it at all when I played it back then. I liked the new battle system and how open it was, but it had too many other things going against it for me.

Reading about the Zodiac Age reworking the license board makes me want to go back to it because it sounds so much better, but that's still not going to fix the boring plot. I liked the FFT style political intrigue approach at first, but...nothing happens

I did a little research into this. When the network relaunched, she received so much hatred for simply existing due to her appearance. She tried being inoffensive, but gamers kept attacking her. It got to the point where she made that statement which was entirely true.

Yeah, it was pretty immediate. I watched the live launch, and a lot of the comments were complaining about her having tattoos or saying "is that a man?" like they were at Cracker Barrel on a Sunday.

I was pretty hooked on it. Put 120 hours into it and did all of the shrines and side quests.

It does stop feeling incredible after a certain point, but every game I've ever played that lasts awhile is like that
