CCW laws were a joke anyway. I do think you should need a license to own a gun, personally. If you need a license to fish and to drive, you should need one for a gun.

But the old CCW law was seriously non existent anyway. It didnt cover weapon retention at all, and you need to be able to hit the broadside of a barn. Thats it.

I called and told them that I tried marijuana over my birthday and I need to withdraw my app. He told me to hold on, we dont have to do all that yet, and said he would call me back.

No lie, my friend was in a very similar situation to you going for a police job. In his case he consumed his edible accidentally (it wasn't in something obvious like a brownie, it was mixed into some Mac n cheese his housemate had made and left in the fridge)

He was planning to just say the consumption was accidental, but they haven't even gotten back to him about doing the test for other reasons yet.

Anyway it's not beyond the realm of possibility that someone can consume edibles thinking it was normal food
