If you didn't get the message, I like Star Trek. I have like 5000 hours in Star Trek Online and even wrote a bot for the game, but I don't play anymore.

Yeah... I mean, I believe you for sure... I haven't really that much... And it's been a while. I might give some of these series a go, though...

My Rundown if you're interested:
Discovery: Skip Season 1. May also want to Skip Season 2 but it's good prequel material for SNW and Season 3 / 4 of Discovery. If you skip S2, you will never see "Nu-Klingons" and that's probably for the best.
Picard; It's trash. Like worse than Discovery Season 1. And no, the Enterprise crew returning for Season 3 won't make it better. Picard is an android and is friends with the Borg Queen. No I am not fucking joking.
Strange New Worlds: Absolutely Based. Feels like a more modernized version of TOS or TNG, but there are a few "woke" (I fucking hate this word) things. Anyone who is saying anything negative about SNW is basically just arguing for attention. I mean There's an episode where Spock bodyswaps with T'Pring and each of them has to impersonate the other. There's also a Sybok cameo in the latest episode.
Lower Decks: Really solid.
Prodigy: I don't watch western animation made for children.

That is a lot of Star Trek...

CBS bought Viacom last year and basically became based overnight.
I strongly recommend Star Trek: Strange New Worlds. You can skip Discovery and Picard, but SNW is the real good shit.

Some co-workers at work were talking about the different Star Treks a few weeks ago...

They started to get popular up over the last couple of years. Taylor Sheridan has been helping Paramount with his Yellowstone and prequel series. Theyve also been airing their theatrical movie releases early which always helps.

Peacock got The Office and had a ton of free streaming stuff, which is always a plus for me. They usually have a great selection of movies as well

I've been thinking of getting both... But there are so many streaming services now... It's hard to know which ones to keep or not... Not just based on price, but based on what they have... And I don't watch shows fast enough to watch everything I want to see on one service, and then canceling to watch another for a while...

Hmmm... I guess that make sense. I remember seeing commercials for it having some good stuff... Then one day, they were big and had a list of shows I've been thinking of... Just from looking up shows I haven't seen for a while that I want to watch or re-watch... Not even from their commercials... Though, there are a few commercials that have showed shows I want to watch, as well...

There's a great silver lining to come out of this. I was able to get in touch with my older sister. He has two other children that he's been telling me that I would meet since I was 8. This ordeal made me realize that if I was ever going to see them, I have to do it myself. I found her phone number and managed to get in touch. I talked with her for a good 30 minutes. I blew her mind because, as I expected, he's never told her or anyone about me. She also confirmed another one of my suspicions, she thinks he sucks too. Haven't spoken to him in 10+ years. We're going to try to meet next week. I have a younger brother I have to reach out to next.

That's pretty cool... At least something good has come from this... Does she know anything about the other brother?

Space junk could actually be used to help us expand if we ever set up a real space station that orbits the earth. All that junk is just material you don't need to send up into orbit to use, although collecting it is going to require some resources/time.

It would be better to just send material up. The space junk can be used for patch work. But you should use it to build anything. But the problem is that the space junk will eventually get in the way or us getting into space in the first place. That's the problem. Space junk makes it dangerous for us to send anything or anyone up there in the first place. Getting the junk also isn't easy. Satellites travel at about 17,000 miles per hour. So catching it can be difficult. I watched a video about space junk. And they mentioned that scietist were working on a way to get rid of it. A net, a harpoon on a tether, magnets, and lasers are some of the working theories...

I've played that game. You can have peace... But not everyone wants to play that way... So, you have to join a good alliance to have peace... And even then, you'll have asshole who keep trying to attack people...

I've been watching it recently, along with a few other shows. Idk if it's just me, but it kind of has a Gravity Falls kind of vibe, but it might just be the art style... That said, I'm enjoying it... I also heard there was a graphic novel version that's a little darker... And that there were even some dark scene that were removed from it or something... Don't actually know much about that, though... Anyway, I've been enjoying it...

My favorite thing to do in the Sims is erase all the people I don't like, leave the neat vanilla game ones I do like, then fill in the neighborhoods with my own families. Then just spectate and treat them like pets. Come back and visit them once in a while.

My favorite house was a single guy who moved in and he hired a piano player. She's was a bit old, but they fell in love right away. Unfortunately they had too much woohoo that night and she died of exhaustion. So she became a ghost and he found a way to bring her back to life after a while. I had to edit the game to make her younger though. When I played, there wasn't a way to change age naturally. I think there was some reason I had to keep her in the middle age instead of old. So she wouldn't due from stuff. It's been years.

My girlfriend made a sorority house like she had at university and lived next door.

Sims is a really special game when you get into it right. I hope one day they flesh it out so they can really automate things and let us spectate in a really thorough way. It would be fun to watch them go through their day. I'm sure it would be prohibitively expensive to code all that into the game, but who knows.

I played the original Sims, never played 2 or 3 and got into it again with 4.

I've seen some youtubers do that... It's like watching a really weird show... But it's pretty funny sometimes. He has this family that's he's been watching for a while. Though, I'm not sure how the series ended, or how they've been recently... One guy sets up these elaborate scenarios to see how the sims handle it... And to see who will be the last one alive...

Foreseeability asks how likely it was that a person could have anticipated the potential or actual results of their actions. To them, the chances were probably low. They knew they wouldnt kill anyone since they had a fake gun. And because they recently got away with another crime not too long ago, they didnt have much reason to think they wouldnt do the same again. For them, this was very unlikely to happen So, police responding so quickly (since they were called BEFORE the crime was committed) was not really a likely choice they would think have happened

To them, it was unforeseeable Ans to them is what we were talking about Unless you changed the subject at some point

Probably not since they didnt know the cops would be there. That only happened as a result of the witness who saw him enter the store So, the robbers probably didnt foresee that If they knew someone witnessed them going in the store, they probably would have left before the cops got there

Maybe in a normal robbery But the robbers didnt even have real guns The one inside had a fake gun So, chances are the driver (and other robber) probably had no intention of someone even getting hurt, much less dying

Hmmm... Idk... I guess it depends on the game. Like I like choices, but too many can be overwhelming like with Persona building in Persona Q... And certain missable things bother me, too... For example, in Tokyo Mirage Session #FE, there's a missable duo art move... The problem is to not miss it, you have to have answered certain question correctly. But the game never even tells you that you're answering the questions for something, nor does it give an indication that you have answered correctly or not... It's really weird...

Also, didn't we have a discussion about your pet peeve like a couple weeks ago or something...
