Personally, I think a less linear progression and a stronger emphasis on the Roguelike elements would've given it a lot more longevity. It was surprisingly poor replay value for a Roguelike. It's also extraordinarily unbalanced. The very first purple weapon I found in the game was a silenced Uzi that never alerted enemies, so for the literal rest of the game I just sniped my way through without any challenge. Yep this is also my only major problem with the game. After you gain the ability to permacquire purple and legendary guns and trinkets via infusion, that unmakes the rest of the game's fun and progression from there. imo our expectations were way too high assuming DL was going to expand on both the deep roguelike elements of Prey: Mooncrash and action stealth gameplay of Dishonored. Give them credit though for making a Souls-like FPS as GOOD as Deathloop is which is a first for anyone and at least the story concept was a whole lot more superior than stupid Tenet.
