the harder you make it for them, the harder you make it for everyone which is something i dont agree with especially when gun control to a massive degree tends to target those who might actually need a gun like poorer individuals and minority groups. this shooter would have most likely gotten though most of what gun control advocates have wanted anyway just like the buffalo shooter who was also 18 and legally got through NY's universal background check, red flag law, magazine limit, assault weapons ban ect.

im of the opinion we can do more in other areas that would help the problem without doing the above.

If you're intent on causing mayhem, you're going to pick the easiest way to do it.

im saying people will find a way to do what they want. meanwhile further restrictions also means less defenses for normal citizens including and especially disfranchised groups.

unless you fix the underlining problem it wont matter much. no guns means people get more desperate and more creative which usually amounts to even worse outcomes. more bombings, more poisonings, more arson. more vehicle assaults. thanks to social media and the internet people can also easily team up to do more damage with like minded individuals.

iv always found this to be very disingenuous. Same with Australia's situation. Both countries barely had any gun violence to begin in no small part to their cultures with Aus already showing a downward decline in gun violence years prior to their massacre. when something is rare to begin with it doesnt provide enough data to show that that was the defining cause or solution. especially in Aus when stabbings and arson deaths suspiciously increased by 50% shortly after their gun buy back for something like a solid 10 years before it started to come back down.

I made a few videos that were successful, but they were compilations of stupid shit. One is sitting at over 150K views, but my "audience" are mostly annoying zoomers. I've lost interest in YouTube entirely. I even bought a cheap microphone to maybe do VO with, but I haven't used it in months.
