I don't want to paint everyone who criticize the driving under one brush, but I think a number of them just forgot you have to use the brakes and you can't do a 90 degree right turn going 60mph. The map being more condensed doesn't help either. Other than that, most people probably just didn't like the more sim like driving (relatively speaking) of IV.

Damn. Knew he was in bad health recently, but still sucks. Paulie is one of the best characters in the show. No matter what horrible shit he did, I still loved his character. Tony Sirico nailed it.

Cool. Been thinking of replaying myself with all the recent talk here. Still say it's the best in terms of story, characters, setting, and atmosphere. Liberty City feels more alive. I still remember finally unlocking Algonquin (Manhattan) and driving there for the first time. Felt almost magical at the time. I got excited unlocking each piece of the map so I could explore.

Make sure to turn off auto-aim. It improves the game a lot, and that also applies to RDR and GTA V.

Personally I have always enjoyed the driving physics in that game, it really feels like they designed everything around actually using analog controls. I think that's where it lost some people, because a lot of people just treat the gas and brake as buttons instead of analog controls with a whole range behind them. When you get good at it, you have so much control. Also the peds physics, while exaggerated, are leaps and bounds beyond the toned down physics in V.

That's a really good way to put it. I also like the driving. I think many of the complaints in general about IV have been exaggerated. Like the friends calling you for instance. People act like it happens every 5 minutes when it's doesn't. The physics and car damage are way better than V's. I loved bashing cars in with a baseball bat and seeing all the dents. Car crashes were more interesting too.

I kinda like how certain areas become too dangerous to mess around in. Liberty City is called "The most dangerous city in America" for a reason. But yeah, it sucks when trying to do certain things.

It was pretty obvious already. I used to play, but there's no point to it now. A shame because I like Red Dead 2s gameplay and feel over GTA 5's. Plus being a cowboy is fun.

If one stops being a fan of something because of something the creator said or did, in the end you're not going to be a fan of much.

Nerds who whine and get so mad about those two are pretty sad, but I never got the "this should happen because it would make the nerds mad and that would be funny!" stuff. Isn't it also pretty petty as well?

Because people finally came to terms that the first half of the movie is pretty shit. The second half is great, but people convinced themselves that the whole jabba arc was fine because "STAR WARS !" You could have dropped the entire plot, killed off han, and had a much better movie altogether.

The Jabba part never bothered me. Thought it was cool for the gang to save Han and Luke kicking ass in the sail barge part was awesome. *shrug*

When did it become a thing to shit on ROTJ? Everyone used to love it. Yeah, there's some not so good parts, but the great parts well make up for them.

It's been a while since I've seen any of them, but I thought in TFA they were setting up Finn to become a Jedi at some point and maybe even get with Rey later. They didn't do anything with that. Another thing that sort of dissapointed me is that I thought Rey, Finn, and Poe had some good chemistry together and I wanted to see them do more together, but they got split apart for the most part.

They know a bald guy named Mike works for Gus, but they don't have 100% proof it's him because none of the other Salamancas could identify him at the time. Still a massive stretch though. It's a stretch, but did the Salamancas even ever learn his name? At the time he got into it with them, Mike was just the old guy who hit Tuco's car and got beat up by him. To them he was just the bald gringo. I guess at some point they had to learn his name somehow though. It's been a minute since I've seen those episodes. There's nobody to really point him out either. Tuco was in jail, the cousins were hiding out in Mexico because of their massacre of the rival gang, and Hector was disabled. Describing an old bald guy with a goatee might raise some suspicion, but there's no actual proof he's connected to all of it.

Like I said though, it's a big stretch.

It's probably a legit plot hole, but there being a guy named Mike and who is also bald isn't very specific. So many bald/shaved dudes in both shows and real life and Mike is a common name.
