This week I got the JJJJound NewBalance 993 Olive for 300 and the Nike G-Dragon Kwondo for 195.

Gonna turn them around for some nice profit once the market gets more stable for them. Really wanted the Supreme Nike dunks but could not get em.

sure, it gives the game a "freer" quality, where every weapon an enemy drops can be picked up, and since they're easily gained, they can be easily discarded, and so on.

personally, I felt it was lame that there were no exceptions to this - like, either finding a way to make the weapons you liked more durable and/or finding weapons that didn't break.

The problem would be that the unbreakable weapons would defeat the purpose of the entire system. Then why would you use anything else?

If you just wanted to use the Master Sword you could but you would need to wait until it recharges.

I liked the breakable weapons because it felt like you really were living off of the land. You had to scrap to find items that you could use and could not just find one good weapon and slap anything for the entire game. It made you prioritize certain weapons for certain opponents. Using very strong weapons against week enemies was very wasteful unless you had a ton of good weapons, so the game made you think about how you wanted to tackle each enemy. Also it creates frantic moments where you literally have to pick up anything and use it if you were that unprepared.

I thought it was cool at least. Never understood the hate for the mechanic.

I know people were really split on this game, but I loved it. I try to play through it about once a year or so.

Such a shame there will never be another one. Team Bondai went under after this game. The one and only game they ever made. I think Rockstar owns the IP now but I do not think they are interested in making another one. Even if they did, there are not many options on where the story could go.

I have completed the game before when it first released but without the DLC. Fuck what a great game. Its basically GTA meets Ace Attorney and its fantastic.

One thing I am so happy I rediscovered is all the amazing cutscenes. I forgot about this one. I nearly fell over laughing when I watched it this play through since I forgot all about it.

Very cool for the price. If you can find it I recommend. Its for sure not a normal fridge but if you want to use it to hold some drinks, some granola bars, and a small tray of food it does the job. Thats what I am using mine for. It says to not leave it on 24/7 tho so I am either going to shut it off every night, or just shut it on the weekends. Not sure yet

Got it working at my desk and it looks sick

Overall, very happy with it so far. Looks great, fits what I need it to. Eco mode is almost silent as well. Exterior lights are cool. USB is handy. Price was great.

Only problem is the inside is dark and that will be a problem since my co-workers near me actually keep the lights off over our desks lol. Will need to get a little light for the inside. Other then that, I really like it.

imo the instant Jake Ewert disregarded the ref's instructions, it should have been an automatic disqualification

I dont have a problem with interchangeable weapons and stuff. I think that's great and it brings in a lot of stratgey, but it is not right to have an attachment for a specific opponent, thats just very unsportsmanlike.

Also I feel like half the fights have that Ewert in them. He has had like a dozen different robots enter it feels like.

this fight against Huge, in which Jake Ewert decides to use an oversight/loophole in the rules in a very petty and unsportsmanlike way in order to add a countermeasure against Huge that basically turns the match into a nonfight, and precludes the usage of its own main weapon, and when the ref tells him per the rules that he has to back off, he basically tells the ref "fuck you, no i don't":

Hydra last year used an attachment in its fight against Huge which, while technically legal, basically prevented the bots from actually fighting. It was not a popular.

And Ray (and Tombstone) plays the heel purely for entertainment value. He is apparently the nicest a most helpful guy behind the scenes and is beloved by the other teams. But all shows need a villain.

Oh so Hydra is basically Tornado from Robot Wars.

I mentioned it before that Tornado fucking cheated. They also had interchangeable weapons (wedge, spikes, spinner) but they also had an entire attachment that quadrupled the size of the robot by using a steel frame with a spinner at the end. It was made specifically to defeat one opponent, Razer, and Razer still almost won. It was ridiculous. It is like entering the arena with a completely different robot for a certain opponent.

I have not been paying attention that hard so can someone explain what the Hydra hate is about? I watched one fight and I like the look of it. I am definitely missing something.

I am always on the Tombstone hate train though. The dude who drive Tombstone seems like the biggest fucking douche.

Depends if there is a good release that day or not. Maybe 5 mins per release just to get myself ready lol. I don't use bots or anything, that is scummy. I have been burned a few times but almost always I know what I am doing. A couple of my family members want to get in on it but they don't know how the shoe game works lol. If it's on the shelf at any store, it ain't worth shit. The shoes that you can make a profit on never make it to the shelves.

I only really get half of the shoes I try to get though. Half the time I am unable to get a pair.

a family member mentioned this today, you think its possible someone in Russia will try to take out Putin? I am sure there are plenty of civilians who would do it if they could but Putin has plenty of security. I am wondering if at any point any of his closest personal allies or government official with access to him will attempt that. There seems to be a crazy amount of dissent even in the government which Putin usually has a chokehold on.

Pleasantly surprised so far. Mine had the eco mode feature which is almost silent. It is a bit loud in max mode but I probably dont need that. It does look really damn cool.

Size is small but thats actually what I wanted. Its just for a few cans and leftovers for lunch. I cant use big trays but I have some skinny ones that will fit.

Only thing I will add to it is probably a light inside. Other than that pretty happy so far, but wont actually be using it until I bring it to work Monday

Ill give my thoughts for sure.

Also if its no good I just bring it back and return it.

No matter how popular Battlebots gets, it will never be as special to me as Robot Wars in the UK. I spent so many days of my youth watching that show. Tornado cheated

Although I absolutely hated the US version, mainly because of the announcing. I am not a huge fan of the Battlebots announcers either actually. I though Jonathan Pearce was always the best. Although I do still like battlebots a fair bit.

A local target got a couple in stock and I am snatching one. I know they are tiny and I am paying for the novelty, but I have been looking at keeping a mini fridge at my desk at work for drinks and food for lunch because honestly the community fridge smells. The xbox fridge is a subtle flex and it seems big enough at least for that lmao.

Fingers crossed target does not screw me when I try to pick it up tomorrow. I already paid.
