I mean that's fair enough. I can see why someone may not like Drapion all that much. He is a bit weird looking. Skorupi is pretty cool, it's just that I don't think you ever really encounter him early in any of the games. Probably would be able to appreciate it more if it appeared slightly earlier.

Yes. You have to be a female to work under Hololive. They have a male side called Holostars. Most of the people that are vtubers just do it because they don't want people to see them irl. In Japan it can lead to issues for family members and people will doxx them if they know who they really are.
That first sentence isn't entirely true since their recent calls for auditions have explicitly stated you can apply regardless of gender. That said, it probably is unlikely they'd hire a male performer to play a female character. But at least publicly they say gender doesn't matter.

They were so close last year. I think it's very possible. Of course a number of the teams they're gonna be competing against did get better too. The Angels got slightly better and should have Trout back. Astros are coming off a World Series appearance, they've got Verlander back, and they may be getting Correa back as well. So they'll still be tough. The Blue Jays got significantly better even after losing Semien. The Yankees are probably a bit better with the trade they just made too.

Should be a fun race again, but with a bit more leeway now with the extra spot.

I kind of like the Divine Beasts, but Hyrule Castle definitely does reflect the game's theme of exploration perfectly. I think the ideal game has a mix between the traditional Zelda dungeons and ones like Hyrule Castle. And then they can keep a number of shrines as well to have something devoted primarily to puzzle solving. Just maybe not 120 of them.

Im surprised the shift thing is popular. It seems like the real baseball fans dont like that the game is strike outs or HRs now so I would think instead of banning the shift you would just want players hit to the opposite field or bunt and get on base instead of continuing to swing for the fences.
Not all players can do those things. And even then, the consensus is that analytics say doing those actually isn't optimal and that hitting over the shift is. Home Runs have much higher value than anything else.

Ok, cool. Thanks. Yeah, I really have no idea what I'm doing with the facilities. I went heavy with labs at the end for faster research, but it seems I'm about out of stuff to research now lol.

I went with Ghost armor for my Sniper, because once in a blue moon an enemy would actually drop next to my Sniper and attack him. I figured this would let me go ghost and would also let my Sniper grapple up to high roof tops to get height bonus. From what I read, archangel height bonus doesn't benefit the Sniper? It didn't seem clear to me anyway based on what people were saying.
I think the description isn't worded right because you do get the bonus while flying. It even stacks with the Damn Good Ground perk that Snipers can get. At least I remember it working like that.

I guess not having full Plasma is a bit odd. And you're quite low on Elerium. Personally, I don't think you needed to get a full array of Ghost Armor. Archangel is much better for your Sniper obviously. And most of the rest can just roll with Titan.

Also you really went crazy with Laboratories. I've never seen anyone build even close to that many. I recall most players placing a lot more value on Workshops and building a lot more of those instead. The discounts you get from them are a big deal, but it looks like you managed to get by without them.

Anyway, you've essentially won the game at this point. It seems you're well past the point where XCOM becomes unstoppable. All you need to do is get the other Plasma Weapons and the PSI Armor for the Gollop Chamber and you're good to go. The final mission isn't that difficult. You will probably want a HEAT Ammo Heavy, but that's all I'll say.

There were reports during the pandemic season that said the players liked it and they didn't like playing extra inning games either so anything that made it shorter was welcomed. I hated it but I'm of the opinion now that they should make the most extreme changes since nobody cares about the sport.
The problem with baseball is that it's perfectly understandable why most people would find it boring. Personally, I love it, so I don't want to see any drastic changes. That's why I'm not really sure how effective even some minor changes will be. The sport by its very nature is going to fail to appeal to a lot of people.

Not necessarily. Obviously if a pitcher is getting absolutely shelled it could be longer. But an inning where a pitcher gives up say 2-3 hits could still end up being much shorter than one where he gets three strikeouts with a walk or two. Hitters are very patient and selective these days. Eliminating the shift might alleviate that need for extreme patience at least a little bit. The potential time-saving aspect of it doesn't matter that much to me though, but I do like the idea of hitters putting the ball in play more.

Absolutely fucking stupid to ban the shift

I had to look up what they meant because it seems so absurd to ban this

its like the owners are completely out of touch on why baseball is losing fans
It's another way to cut down on game time. With the rise in strikeouts, walks, and home runs, games take longer. Plus, I think many fans prefer seeing the ball in play more than the three true outcomes most of the time.

I think my opinion has changed on banning the shift. I still don't like the idea of banning strategies, but the game isn't really going to suffer with it gone. If anything it will probably get better since batters are either unwilling or unable to defeat the shift.

As for the pitch clock, that's obviously fine. Though I want to see them go after batters who constantly step out of the batter's box too because I think that eats up even more time than pitchers do.

I agree with the OP, and won't repeat the points it made because this argument has been done to death.

Certainly not a perfect mechanic - I like to think that if they'd doubled durability across the board it wouldn't have softened peoples' hatred of it. The unique Champion weapons were also a complete wash; they weren't powerful enough to justify going through the rigmarole of continuously reforging them, but they're still unique, so they end up getting filed into the 'megalixir' category of never-used space-wasters.
I liked Boulder Breaker, but even then you end up with a pocket full of two-handed weapons that are just as good or better. They should have done something with them to make them more unique and certainly much more powerful. In addition to some increased durability of course.

I think it works for the game but it could use with some tweaking. Maybe increase the durability across the board but also make weapons harder to obtain. Or at the very least they could just make the Master Sword not break at all or give you an option to repair/increase the durability of weapons you enjoy using.

Personally, I'm okay with it being unchanged though if they bring the system back for BOTW2.

Generally, people don't competitively run categories with "skip to the end" glitches. They're just to showcase what's possible. They're funny to do once, but then it's back to categories where you actually get to play the game.

And glitches are far too varied in nature to write them off entirely. Technically wall jumping in Super Mario Bros. is a glitch, but no one would expect a runner to not do it in any category.
