That's what I thought too, was expecting a lot more from it I want to like it because I thought the first two were great but this one just felt a bit flat. |
Topic | Good names for adorable jet black kitten |
valleyboy86 07/03/17 4:01:36 PM #33 | My mam's black kitten is Shadow. I wanted to call it Nico after a demon girl who can travel unseen through shadows in the book The Legend of Eli Monpress. |
Topic | I can't stand coworkers who don't take their break. It's company policy. |
valleyboy86 06/15/17 3:21:55 PM #27 | Don't really take the two 15 minute breaks officially but sometimes my half hour lunch will run over. And we'll often just sit and chat in the office for a bit and when I'm out and about in the rest of the building I'll chat with other people. |

valleyboy86 05/17/17 8:27:46 AM #16 | YoshitoKikuchi posted... -Group of villains take turns attacking hero one by one, instead of all ganging up on hero I hate this especially when the enemies all have guns and decide they want to get within 2 feet of the person before trying to shoot |
Topic | 100k, or be transported to Skyrim |
valleyboy86 05/13/17 2:24:21 AM #9 | I was going to go With Skyrim anyway, then the last paragraph about returning to now with your in game money converted to your bank account it was an easy desicion, £100k is not life changing enough for me to take the money, yeah it's a lot of money and would be great to have but I don't lose anything by going to Skyrim and have everything to gain. Just hope I don't take an arrow to the knee. |

Topic | Have you ever visited a historical site? |
valleyboy86 05/01/17 5:40:49 AM #14 | Living in the UK there's castles and ruins everywhere. Been to Many Roman ruins. Been to tombs of the kings in Cyprus. A more recent historical event, I've been to the border of Farmagusta also In Cyprus. Been To Nicaragua and saw plenty of things related to their countries civil war. Going to Peru later this month so will See Machu Pichu and a lot of other ruins. Had a school trip to France where we saw loads of WWII sites that have historic importance. Probably seen many more too but it depends on what you mean by historic site. |

Topic | What room in your house would you go to if reports of nukes dropping happened? |
valleyboy86 04/22/17 4:53:48 PM #15 | Where I live I'd be ok up to the 4-5000 kilotons. After that I'm in the thermal radiation field, not sure if my house is enough to survive that. It's outside the airblast radius so should be structurally sound, not sure how long the thermal radiation stays after the blast, so going on my assumptions I should be fine anywhere in the house. |
Topic | Can you do the bring sally up push up challenge? |
valleyboy86 04/21/17 4:06:08 AM #25 | I've got to about 1:40 a few times, so just after the second long plank part. I've never really trained for it and only do cardio so haven't got the upper body strength to make it all the way through, but it is on my list of targets. I know someone who has finished it but they were going to the gym everyday when they did it. |
Topic | Am I the only one who don't find Witcher 3 fun? |
valleyboy86 04/15/17 11:43:17 AM #9 | green butter posted... i thought it was pretty boring and never finished the game. I agree with most of this. RPGs are my favorite type of game but I just didn't get into the Witcher like I do with others. I'm not sure how far I got into the story but must have played 40-50 hours. I enjoyed the missions, Gwent to an extent, and the story but the combat was lacking and the enemies just seemed to be re-skinned versions of ones you fought earlier. I stopped playing when FFXV came out and just never felt the want to pick it back up when I finished with FF. |
Topic | Have you seen any of the Adam Sandler films on Netflix? |
valleyboy86 04/15/17 2:14:19 AM #4 | I watched that ridiculous 6 or whatever it was called. One of the worst films I've seen in years! |
Topic | 24: Legacy sucks *spoilers* |
valleyboy86 04/15/17 2:12:48 AM #2 | I loved 24 but agree this new season is missing the charm. I stopped watching after the episode That Tony first showed up. When I heard he was going to be in it I thought it might save the show but like said above there's no reason for that character to be Tony apart from just having a link to the old 24. |
Topic | What are some games that you'd consider to be masterpieces? |
valleyboy86 04/14/17 11:05:36 AM #10 | FFVII Metal Gear Solid (1 and snake Eater) Also agree that a lot of first party Nintendo games are. |
Topic | What fictional genre settinf would you prefer to live in? |
valleyboy86 04/11/17 1:55:39 PM #3 | Do you get to choose who you would be in that world. Like could I be the dragon born from skyrim in a medieval fantasy or are my just a regular person like I am now. |
Topic | Do you like your current job? |
valleyboy86 04/10/17 5:34:18 AM #6 | I enjoy my work, I get along with everyone in my office really well and people around the business are decent enough. And the company is big enough that most days are different so it's not too monotonous. Although in IT support a lot of the jobs you do are very similar. Get days where you get annoyed by things but that happens to everyone and even outside work. |
Topic | How is the Mistborn series? |
valleyboy86 04/10/17 1:54:44 AM #12 | Sanderson is easily my favourite author and the Mistborn trilogy is what got me to start reading his work. Like said above the first trilogy is great, the second set a few hundred years later is good but you can tell it wasn't his main project while writing it. |
