As for the loot boxes, I have had this argument with others on this board. It it all cosmetic. Call me when you can use these loot boxes to start a match with a sniper rifle.

I don't play the game personally, but I've heard that hiding and staying out of sight play a major role in the game, and that certain loot box cosmetics can allow for better camouflage.

Again, I haven't played the game so I can't say for sure, but it's what I've heard.

I once heard that rockstar weren't able to port their GTA games from physical disc to digital/psn properly. Was thinking of going with ps2 version, ps2 disc?

I mean, I'm sure either are fine. Hell, I played the game on PSP with a shitty framerate and still managed to love it.

Just get the PS2 version on the PS3 store.

Compared to Mother you likely get in just as many battles, however I always felt it was easier to over level in Earthbound leading to an instant win instead of a battle.

Oh, I'm already over leveled in Mother (I'm playing the GBA version and using the easy ring because why not?).

Earthbound is a lot more in your face about where to go, however there are a few points in the game where you're likely to wonder for a bit.

I don't mind having to think critically about the next course of action, but Mother didn't say anything about the melodies or even what I was really ever supposed to be doing. Up until the point I started using a guide, I was just pretty much going to every spot on the map I could go and interacting with everything, which leads to a lot of tedium IMO.

Oh man, where do I start?

- The encounter rate is absolutely insane, and the run option works like maybe half the time if not less
- Extremely vague in informing the player what they have to do (to the point where I'm just using a guide)
- Combat is boring
- The world is a chore to navigate when it's filled with open spaces that look the same

the reality is kdot has had mixtapes since like 2010 or so and some people have been fucking with him since then

so when you say you started at GKMC but you're talking down on these "kids who heard a few billboard hits"

i'd argue there's a difference between someone like me who discovered him through gkmc and has since gone back and listened to his stuff before that and someone who heard humble and/or dna on the radio and bought tickets

He was at the grocery store I frequent in LA. I told him how cool it was to meet him in person, but I didn’t want to be a douche and bother him and ask him for photos or anything.

He said, “Oh, like you’re doing now?”

I was taken aback, and all I could say was “Huh?” but he kept cutting me off and going “huh? huh? huh?” and closing him hand shut in front of my face. I walked away and continued with my shopping, and I heard him chuckle as I walked off. When I came to pay for my stuff up front I saw him trying to walk out the doors with like fifteen Milky Ways in him hands without paying.

The girl at the counter was very nice about it and professional, and was like “Miss, you need to pay for those first.” At first he kept pretending to be tired and not hear her, but eventually turned back around and brought them to the counter.

When she took one of the bars and started scanning it multiple times, he stopped her and told her to scan them each individually “to prevent any electrical infetterence,” and then turned around and winked at me. I don’t even think that’s a word. After she scanned each bar and put them in a bag and started to say the price, he kept interrupting her by yawning really loudly.

I don't remember this happening, but I was also drinking pretty heavily yesterday so it's a very real possibility.

I think that says more about how shitty games criticism is than anything else.

After I played Skyward Sword, a pile of shit that has a 93 Metascore because of its franchise alone, I pretty much stopped taking games criticism seriously. Giant Bomb is probably the only outlet I take seriously anymore.

I gotta admit, I was surprised to see such a realistic depiction of a concentration camp in the game. I assumed the game was just gonna be a gung-ho shooting Nazis game. Didn't expect to get an actual reminder of "oh yeah, the Nazis were really fucking horrible btw" >_>

I thought the exact same thing. I played The New Order for the first time last week (perfect timing, right), and I was really surprised by the portrayal of Nazis, and just how well the game made you want to mow them all down.
