It was called 'Man of Steel Woman of Tissue Paper' iirc. His premise was that even if he didn't blow out a human woman's spine with the ejaculation the danger of carrying that baby (kicking etc) meant that the only being capable of not being killed by the process was his cousin. Doesn't superman get his super strength because of the sun and more nourishing atmosphere? So the baby will just be like a normal, weak, baby inside the womb. |

Frankly, I've never liked the term emergency brake since it's really primarily used and designed for parking instead of if the brakes go out or whatever but that's just me. The23rdMagus posted... It's the parking brake. Wouldn't do much to help in an emergency. Honestly, I don't even know what this thing is. I know drifters use it, and that it's supposedly a "direct line" to the brakes, such that if hydraulics fail, you got this manual lever. I'm not even sure if that's correct. |

My car is in neutral when parked and thus I need to use the e-brake. I did not know that manual cars do not auto-engage the brakes when parked (I never drove a manual car). DevsBro posted... We expected her to move after six months of her accepting her new position. But that grew to 14 months now, because of her current position's contract... No idea how much more it'll be pushed (and thankfully, the new employer is still keeping the position open for her). |

It should be noted that where I live some parts of a freeway can be anything from 55 MPH to 70 MPH so voting on the poll isn't accurate. Should have done how much faster than the speed limit do you drive and had an option for under the limit, drive the limit, and then various options for how much over the limit. Disagree. I don't really adjust my speed for the speed limit, except for when cops are around. |

| Printerscape 07/22/17 10:57:27 PM #3 | The movie did a good job in making it feel very hopeless and draggy (which was definitely intended), and the special effects in the film looked on point (I never had a moment where I thought to myself "that looks fake/CGI"). It is also the only war movie that comes to mind that focuses only on the nameless soldiers, and not heroes or any backstory (i.e soldiers are just numbers; no one cares). As far as the music, I cannot recall any "music" in the movie; seemed like just lots of repetitive snares, mimicking the second hand movement on clocks/watches, and basic notes. Only music I remember distinctly is how out of place one was In summary, I believe technically, this movie was fantastic. It could have used more substinence, more background, more storytelling; but that was not the purpose of this film. |
