I'd probably stand a better chance trying to fight a guy with an axe than trying to run away from a guy with an axe.

I run like a sleepy turtle whose friends came along to the final battle being in a japanese video game, wading through molasses after a big meal, played in slow motion observed by somebody in a deadly situation going at nearly lightspeed .

The scariest thing to me about this is how confident people are that it would be impossible for them to make the same mistake.

I mean do you think people who do leave their kids in the car love their life going "oh man I'm so gonna accidentally kill these kids someday"?

If I'm ever a dad, guess who's checking the back seat every time he gets out of the car, whether I think I have the kids with me or not?

The worst is when the entrance ramp is like a mile long but the guy on front of you goes 30 the whole way down the ramp and merges onto the freeway at like 30 before beginning to speed up.

Happened just a few weeks ago and Mrs. DevsBro was legit about to panic.

It isn't open. The residual heat while cooking heats up the kitchen and then the rest of the house.

I guess women are just more attuned to this sort of thing. My mom and Mrs. DevsBro both say the same thing but the only time I've ever noticed is when you set it to self-clean, at which time it heats up to like 550 or 600.

Toaster ovens are kind of redundant if you have a big oven and a toaster but the nice thing is they preheat in a much shorter time.

On the other hand, a toaster is redundant if you have a TO, and a TO does more.

It could be. We don't know how often TC plans to go, how much money TC makes or what kind of expenses TC has. For me, $10 an hour is the kind of thing I might be able to do 2 or 3 hours a month, which is not really enough for any but the most casual hobbyist.

It's a good thing GM actively destroyed th development of public transportation so people would have to buy cars and get stuck in highway traffic

General Motors is the worst company of all time. It blows my mind that we didn't just let them go out of business when they Looney Tooned their way into trouble last decade.

Sure they employ lots of people. But Ford Motor Company and Honda and Toyota, now taking a larger share, will have plenty of openings available in exactly their field of expertise, and they actually make cars that work.

Spending more money while you're already struggling with debt isn't a feeling.

No, it's a problem that I repeat once again, should be sat down and talked about.

There's no point in this evasion of yours. If TC brings up his wife's behavior in an effort to justify his own, he's clearly feeling that he had been wronged, and understandably so. But there's no sense in contributing to the downward spiral.

Okay. But when my goodwill says we should pay off some debts before buying more stuff, it's totally reasonable for her to ignore that because she can do what she wants.

I repeat: sounds like you two need to sit down and talk about stuff.

What sense is there in writing her feelings off just because she did so to you? That just fuels the fire. Suppose you both use that same logic. Not hard to figure out thst this just causes a positive feedback loop of resentment.

Your job is to love your wife, and there's no condition on that command.

Work: 8 hours
Mandatory "f*** you" hour: 1 hour
Commute: 2 hours (would be 30 minutes but every business has to open and close at the same time because again, f*** you)
Prep for work: 1 hour
Sleep: 8 hours
Food prep: 1 hour
Cleaning: 15 min

This leaves us 2 hours 45 min spare time a day. Fortunately, I can make my own schedule so I save about an hour and a half a day by avoiding both morning and evening rush hour and taking a half-length lunch break but most.people.don't habe that luxury.

If you really care, the precedent was set in SA1 when Chaos apparently absorbed the CEs' power but it was only their negative power and Sonic then used the positive power as if that makes sense so perhaps Sonic and Shadow did the same thing. Though this was definitely mot what happened with Sonic and Sonic in Generations.

I played R/B for the first time just a few years ago and enjoyed the hell out of it. I think the people who disparage it just find it harder to go back to after playing the later games in the series, but if you're a first time player like I was it's still great.

I haven't played through any of the others either. It's by no means a bad game but all the grinding and all the dungeoncrawlery makes for poor replayability.

Some people really do like dungeon crawlers for some reason but my personal metrics for a good dungeon are as follows:

1. Can I make it through without going back out the way I came in to go to an inn and heal more than once or twice?
2. Does it take a reasonable amount of time to get through once you're strong enough?

I can't really argue. All four of those games are good but none of them are as good as their fans want you to believe.

Adventure of Link was better than OoT, FF7 was better than 6, Fusion was better than Super despite it's lack of glitches, and Pokemon R/B is only good for one playthrough despite expecting you to do three.

I get it. You're a celebrity. Waiting in line with normies is pretty much the worst idea possible. Sitting next to some normy on the ride is also pretty much the worst idea possible. It's probably a good idea to skip the line and reserve a row. Maybe even the row ahead and the row behind.

But how big of a bitch do you have to be?
