Been on Vyvanse for almost 7 years.

It's worked wonders for me and has improved the quality of my life significantly, but now I'm starting to question if some of my other failings (apathy, lack of goals, lack of initiative) are connected to it.

I think the original saying was supposed to be "money itself doesn't give you happiness", meaning that hording your money and not spending it is pointless, and that you should pursue money as a means of obtaining happiness instead of pursuing money itself as a measure of success.

Soda. I don't know why this doesn't get as much attention.

300 calories that quickly turn to fat if they aren't used soon enough after consumption, and since it's just sugar and water basically, you aren't getting full nor are you getting any nutrition.

That 1200 calorie fast food meal is at least filling and provides nutrition instead of just pure liquid carbs.

I just hate how games are designed around a default difficulty mode that's way too easy and if you want something that isn't just a hallway simulator the next mode up is clunky and artificial as a result.

The furthest you could reasonably go with the "9/11 was an inside job" angle is "the Bush administration was warned of an attack and purposefully let it happen, but was not aware of the magnitude it would turn out to be" or even "the Bush administration colluded with al-Qaeda/Saudi Arabia but was not aware of the magnitude". And honestly Bush's reaction to the news when he was reading to those schoolkids gives me a huge "oh shit, I fucked up" second-thoughts vibe rather than just surprise. But in the end, none of these theories come any further than just speculation and most are founded in ignorance.

I've been taking Vyvanse for many years now, and the withdrawals suck ASS. It's like coming down with the flu and being hungover at the same time when I miss a dose.

Next available appointment is a few days after I run out.

Lots of things

Reproduction- humans cannot produce offspring with Apes

Behaviors- granted many will be similar to Apes, there are many things we do that they don't. Apes do not have a larynx adapted for talking. They also do not have the same mental capabilities as humans. Granted they can use simple tools and wash their faces l, but then again so can dogs.

Genetic- our DNA is different enough to make us different species. We also look different and have limbs adopted to walking upright ad opposed to climbing. We are mostly hairless, and Apes are not.

We are all primates, but humans are not apes


I feel like I'm making one too many technical corrections in this topic but humans are indeed apes. We are great apes, as are they.

Outside of that, while they're intelligent and high functioning, they don't possess human-level consciousness, which is a key differentiator.

The entire Homo genus is often referred to as human in scientific context, so Neanderthals, Homo erectus, etc.

Well the fact that they are from different genuses (geni? genera?) is a big part of it.

These similarities don't say they are human, they say humanity is less unique. These are traits of all great apes rather than human traits.
