I feel it's more pronounced on a larger terrain, really. You have it explicitly going after the enemy, and then even when the whistle fails, it's closer to the enemy team already, why wouldn't it go after them first? I feel making it more situational - i.e. "dropping everything it is doing to go after/kill Booker as soon as it sees him, both teams know this" - makes for a more complete ability with more strategic applications as a drawback. Either that or just make it a pure neutral with only Booker himself given 30 seconds of "it will deliberately try not to hurt him".

If you can get Rex to drop Uraby, I'd eliminate two Element Sauruses and put Uraby in so as to not trigger Leotaur and have more bodies for Order To Charge to trigger off of. Twin-Barrel is also not consistent enough removal to be worth it over Jerry Beans Man most of the time, especially since you're already running both Twister and Michizure.

Revamped my Naturia deck. Running both Wonder Balloons and Pumprincess in it feels absolutely nasty in the best way, and finally got Shard of Greed x2 in order to make it a far more consistent engine. Also I know that Switcheroo is generally the better skill, but I love running it with Joey's Grit, because winning with 1 LP happens way more often than it should and it's amazing.

only SR or higher I got from my free 10 was Pumprincess... which I am completely okay with as it's far more splashable in random decks than Wonder Balloons and I got confirmation that it triggers if killed on the flip.

But man there is just not enough removed from play support yet to make the new removed stuff viable. Hell there's barely any Graveyard support as of yet.

Yeah trap cards are destroying my dino and Naturia set-ups. Gonna revert back to my Overwhelm Blue-Eyes decks or try to make a Tyrant Dragon deck.

Shopper is cool but thoroughly impractical because it's random. There is no way to quantify what is in each crate unless a mod rolls EVERY crate, which is... hard. It's in the spirit of Worms and I love it, but it's impractical in its current form since if it's combo'd with a large terrain, we have a chance of needing hundreds of crates to be rolled.

Ceal is great when you realize you can equip it to an enemy for a flat 1000 ATK reduction. Gravity Axe being a no drawbacks 500 ATK boost also makes it one of the better equip spells at this point. Paladin is also damn solid, especially early on.

Sasuke's not useful, Half Shut is very situational, and Djinn is really only useful in a Relinquished deck.

Possible alternative abilities for Bub and Bob, to capitalize on the co-op nature of the games:

Bub - The Rainbow Islands Connection (Pre-Battle) - Once every three weeks, Bub may provide a massive SYNERGY boost between two mercenaries who featured in the same game. Both mercenaries will gain a 100% parameter increase as long as the other is alive. If Bub and Bob are the targets of this ability, both will be completely invincible, though not required to be defeated.

Bob - THIS IS NOT AN ENDING! TRY AGAIN WITH YOUR FRIEND! (Pre-Battle) - Once every four weeks, Bob may target a random enemy mercenary. They will receive a BAD END, being immediately KO'd. However, if a mercenary from the same series is on the same team as that mercenary, they will miraculously stop the KO using the real superpower of teamwork. This ability will go on recharge as usual regardless of result. If a KO goes through, Bob must be rostered if possible. If Bub is on the enemy team, Bob will prioritize KO'ing him, and this ability will not go on recharge.

Spirit Ryu and Cats Ear Tribe freak out the computer for whatever reason. It treats Ryu as if it's a Base 3000 I believe? Just looking since Spirit Ryu's recommended for farming decks and the computer gets scared to attack into it.

I say Geese it, probably the best way to gauge respect. Making it say...

Super Sonic
Ridley
Beast Incarnate Brock Lesnar

Vs

Master Chief
Strider Hiryu
Heihachi Mishima

Gives us a good gauge on some guys - Heihachi Vs Brock would also be something I want to see, as I mentally put them in about the same range despite Heihachi's legit tanking feats. Or at least I do pre-Goldberging of Lesnar. Ridley I feel is a safe bet to put in there because he gets outplayed by anyone who out-finesses him, but would still be enough of a force to take down a weakened opponent if Super Sonic did significant damage, if he'd then be immediately clock cleaned by the next guy.

I have Magic Arm Shield, but I'm not sure I know how to best use it

Magic Arm Shield works by dragging an opponent's face-up monster to your side of the field and auto-redirecting an attack to that monster. It can only be activated while you control a monster, but have an empty monster slot, so therefore when you have 1 or 2 monsters. It has the practical effect of negating one attack while you take marginal damage, or in the best case scenario, your opponent killing their weaker monster against their own strong monster.

It's best used if your opponent would be in a beatdown scenario that would kill you; i.e. "if I kill this monster and attack you directly, I win". That's the most likely time where they'll have two face-up monsters. It is decidedly a comeback card or a "I hope you went second if you got this in the opening hand and aren't running Switcheroo Bandit Keith" card, but it's one of the very few means of attack negation. Even still, I'd recommend running it in a fusion deck, preferably with Bubonic Vermin for the sake of tribute fodder and deck thinning.

Magic Arm Shield or getting lucky on Magical Hats are the only real options. Cyber Stein is a lot more viable at this point, if only because of Zolga and Enchanted Javelin.

Most of those are doable - Red Eyes pulling double duty helps things tremendously, and DMG can combo into DM decks if you've dueled Level 40 Tea enough.

But God I am not looking forward to using Insect Queen.

Here's probably the best things you can do:

-Yugi and Kaiba have good cards in the 20's - Fusion Substitutes. Always good to have those. Kaiba gets Lord of D as a drop as well.
-Mai has Windstorm of Equatia or whatever it's called in the 20's. Really damn good trap.
-Bandit Keith's skills are all really good, and he gets Metalmorph at I believe 23. Metalmorph is invaluable.
-I maxed Weevil and I have used nothing. He does get a skill that automatically puts between one and three Parasite Parasides in the opponent's deck (when they draw it they lose 1000 LP, weak monster auto-summoned to their side of the field, all of their monsters become insects).
-Rex sure does exist. He's pretty much set the instant you get Jurassic World.
-Mako has water cards. Honestly everything you can get as drops from him is better than what he can offer through leveling.
-Ishizu is bad until Necrovalley becomes a thing.
-Odion is probably the hardest but the most fun. His skills other than Chain Reaction are crap, but Serket is a monster's monster, Curse of Anubis is a damn good trap card. He can give you a fun gimmick deck and then Curse of Anubis is fun.
-Pegasus gets Toon Rollback in the early 20's, which makes a Toon Summoned Skull OTK beyond easy. Mimicat also exists for a Toon deck. He also gets Mind Scan, which is brutally good.

It also takes up three cards, so if you're running a 20-card deck, you've reduced your effective pool to 16, letting you get actually good draws as opposed to, say, bricking on Meteor Dragon. And if you feel like it, it gets boosted by Umi.

I've been loading my deck with Conscription against him. Toons are forced to attack other Toons, helps create a stall since his only non-Toon monster in Level 40 is the mammoth and Copycat. Admittedly it doesn't trigger against Toon Mermaid or Summoned Skull, but that's still a 9/20 chance to get Toon Gemini Elf, Toon Goblin Attack Force, or Toon Cannon Soldier.

Lack of instant forest is stupid, but Draw Sense: Low-Level is by far the best skill for auto duel decks, and Parasite Paraside automatically at the start is amazing for burns. Trying to make an Insect Princess deck based around it.

Looking at it, seems to support a lot of under-supported archetypes. Mostly Pyro, Warrior, and Insect at the lower levels. Cosmo Queen as a Common is a damn steal, though, and finally gives Yami Yugi decks an answer to Blue Eyes being just outright better. Dai Grephor as a rare also makes it a better value than Discovery if you're just searching for beatsticks.

Super curious as to if Empress Mantis and Insect Princess are enough to finally make Weevil relevant outside of "Draw Sense - Low Level" spam.

This is my current low-level beater deck. Using Weevil with Low-Level Search in case I get bricked. Idea is essentially to create an invincible Naturia Dragonfly except by removal (D-fly gains 200 for every Naturia monster in the graveyard, can't be destroyed by battle with a monster with 200+ ATK)

Monsters
x3 Naturia Strawberry
x3 Naturia Dragonfly
x2 Naturia Guardian
x2 Jerry Beans Man
x2 Fairy King Truesdale
x1 Four-Starred Ladybug of Doom

Spells
x1 Black Pendant
x1 Wicked-Breaking Flamberge - Baou
x1 Wonder Balloons
x1 Despell

Traps
x1 Michizure
x1 Metalmorph
x1 Enchanted Javelin
x1 Curse of Aging

---

Before I got the Jerry Beans Mans I was using Grass Phantom to a similar effect or just throwing in Guardian of the Throne Room as a standard beater. Only thing that breaks this really is Shield and Sword or the opponent getting a massively lucky draw. Anyone have any ideas on how to improve? I ran this with Bazoo the Soul Eater for a bit, but he ate into the Dragonfly's pool a bit too much to be consistently reliable.

Where do I get this Naturia Strawberry card? It seems pretty decent.

Rare drop from Neo Impact, relatively easy to get. Combos with Naturia Dragonfly and Fairy King Trusdale, also in Neo Impact

I just spent eight hours dicking around in Chapter 2 sidequests. The f***ing Dragon Quest III homage one was so hilariously contrived and probably my favorite sidequest of any of the games just because "I am one of the 5% of people who gets this joke in the US and holy s*** they go all the way with it".

First Yakuza game I've picked up and my God is it fun. Have a friend who's a casual fan who'd been trying to get me in, glad I finally got in.
