Switch. I don't think I have the patience to do 200 (or mirror mode). I decided I was going to get all the three stars on 150cc and that was a bad idea, but I'm already in too deep. I only have four cups left, but I wouldn't be surprised if they take me as long as it takes to do all of the cups on 50.

It's so hard to three star the grand prix. Either I just get hit with a blue shell 100 feet from the finish line or somebody hits me with something on the final lap and then five racers drive past me and hit me with their items before I can even get out of the way.

I three starred most of them on 50 and 100 on my first try and was winning races by 10+ seconds, but it's a huge jump in difficulty at 150.

Yeah, I used to like him until he started doing shit like Philip DeFranco where he'd just make "news" videos about YouTube drama and disingenuous attempts to call out media bias. Of course he got involved in shilling for Pewdiepie like every other circle jerking Youtuber and that was kind of the final straw for me

Like as a percentage of starting bid, or just total dollars? Because the latter is naturally going to skew towards higher-value items. The former would probably be something that started at 1 cent because even selling for a dollar is a 9900% increase

Okay, but it's well-known that it's played up for cameras. I also didn't specify what I considered manufactured drama. For example, I've seen Ramsay shows where they're in the middle of an elimination or whatever and do a cut to commercial right before he says the name, like they love doing in a ton of American reality shows. The only cooking show I've ever really enjoyed is Iron Chef, and it's almost perfect for the genre. If you like elitist chefs, it has that, but their elitism shines through in their dishes, not them saying how terrible other chefs are. It has manufactured spectacle, but it's so over-the-top and self-aware that it's fun. I'd take that over manufactured drama. And each episode is a self-contained competition, rather than having to follow an entire season to see who wins. The only thing it doesn't have is yelling and swearing, but who cares about those

Why do we have so many different shows about him yelling? Why do people find that entertaining? Apparently that's what Americans like and it's really played up for us compared to his British shows. Also, being a food elitist isn't something I find relatable

I'm not a fan of people who do the whole "quote and respond to every part of every post with two paragraphs each" thing. I used to do that... like eight years ago. Nobody liked it then, and nobody likes it now. It's bad enough in political topics, but he does it in much more mundane ones as well.

I don't think that makes any sense. Hunger and appetite are virtually synonyms. Or at least, I'd say that hunger is a condition of having an appetite.

You could say that you should eat something but have no appetite, like if you were sick or hungover, but I don't think that needing to eat means you're necessarily hungry.

I just went to Carl's Jr. for lunch and had this ridiculously huge burger. It was good, but damn, no wonder America is still so fat. I was tempted to see how awful the Green Burrito stuff was, but even good Mexican food didn't sound good to me today, so I didn't try it.

I ate there about a week ago too. Carl's Jr.'s aren't very common around here but I just moved near one. Sometimes when I move to a new place I'll go to a restaurant a bunch just because it's uncommon and I wanna get a lot of visits in, not necessarily because I like it that much.
