Would you think this is weird? She just expects everyone to call her Angie?

I see that as a term of endearment, like you'd call your girlfriend Angela that. Close friends would call her that.

I met a girl who said her name is Angie and I was really weirded out by it.

Hm, I dunno if I would really prefer that myself but having never experienced it I guess I can't say.

But what I was thinking of was personal only being preferable to sick only, which I would have to say it is.

My friend'f fiancee gets 24 personal days, and 12 sickdays a year. Though downside, they don't roll over.

That sure would be nice. I'd take like every other Monday as a personal day.

But I hate the DCEU because we're basically stuck with these garbage ass DC movies for the foreseeable future.

Their over-emphasis on trying so hard to NOT be superhero movies makes them not even resemble the comic books that I've read and it wouldn't be so bad if they didn't also fail at being intellectually engaging.

Frankly, you just don't get it. They're not trying to not be superhero movies. They're presenting a unique universe of stories building from ground zero. That means that it starts in some bleak times, which is why they need heroes in the first place.

The strongest aspect of the DC movies (3 movies in) is that they're all heavily connected. I see they have you firmly in their grasp. Be happy that you have to work at home, yes! Also put in some hours Saturday and Sunday, it's fine because you're at home! It's delightful, yes!

I have had real jobs and have gone through this. It's one thing that's nice about my current job because we're way "behind" in that realm. I have no remote access at all, not even to my emails. That's a great thing.

get back in your NEET cave

Don't know what that means.

At my last job, they completely eliminated sick days as their own thing. They combined it with personal days, deaths in the family, what have you. So what does that do? It encourages no sick days!

At my current job, we don't have a set number of sick days. They tell us to just take them as needed, and they've never had a problem with it before. Which means what? That it's not encouraged, and if you take too many days, they talk to you about you becoming a problem.

So everyone comes in while they're sick, sneezing and coughing all over the place, and it infects the entire office.

I'm going through it now and it really sucks. I'm sick because my boss was sick and now everyone else around me is sick. If we didn't have this culture where we're expected to come in sick, it wouldn't need to be passed around to everyone like this.

So he's the only one of the group not drinking, and also the first to need to go to the bathroom. At about 56:25, when he's been back for about a minute, he sniffles then reaches at his nose and makes a real weird face like he's in pain, but doesn't say anything.

Now, bear with me here... He continues playing with his nose A LOT and then, skip ahead to 1:28:00 and just watch him from there out. You'll see him do another big attack at his nose and a wince, followed by him eventually saying "I don't know how it's possible, but I have to go to the bathroom again."

To which Drew says "I know how it's possible!" which of course, Brad ignores and leaves.

This seems like classic coke-head behavior here and it really took me out of the mood as I was watching last night. I ended up stopping here.

What do you think, sirs?

Pardon me for sharing this, but just to make the point:

http://bgr.com/2017/05/11/google-pixel-2-design-concept-video/

This article was pushed on me because I have a Pixel. The actual headline of this garbage is "Google Pixel 2 concept suggests Google will double down on a key Pixel feature"

So, again with a headline that hides what it's talking about, of course.

It's even worse than that though, because the whole article is filled with a ton of words that mean nothing at all, and it never even says any feature.

Google Pixel 2 concept suggests Google will double down on a key Pixel feature

It’s pretty common to see plenty of iPhone concepts flood YouTube at this time of year, as designers try to imagine Apple’s next smartphone. But the iPhone 8 isn’t the only hot handset launching later this year, and some creative minds have already conceived renders for the Galaxy Note 8 and the OnePlus 5 that are kind of interesting. It turns out the Google Pixel 2 is getting plenty of attention from designers as well, and the latest mockup is outstanding.

DON'T MISS
You can order the Nintendo Switch from GameStop right now for delivery next week
YouTube channel Concept Creator, which recently shared an appealing Galaxy Note 8 concept video, is back with a teaser of its vision of the Google Pixel 2.

Unlike some of its competitors, the Google Pixel 2 is pretty much a mystery at this point. We know what it’ll be called, and we know its code names. Google also revealed a few months ago that the phone is going to be released this fall, carrying a price tag that is in line with its premium status.

That means designers don’t have a lot of rumors to work with. The following concept imagines a Google Pixel 2 handset that’s somewhat similar to its illustrious predecessor, but that takes recent designs from Google’s rivals into account.

Google’s new phone features dual cameras both on the back and on the front, at least, in this render. We have no idea what Google will do with the Pixel 2’s cameras this year. But considering the formidable camera performance of the original Pixel series, and the fact that more and more smartphone makers are going for dual lens rear cameras and dual front-facing cameras, we wouldn’t be surprised to see the Pixel 2 follow this trend.

The concept also seems to imply the phone will have a full-screen design, which is one other major trend for flagship smartphones this year. Again, we have no way of knowing what Google plans to do with the Pixel 2. The phone is expected to pack an OLED display just like the original Pixel, but that’s pretty much all we know about the phone at this time.

Great, so it will have a camera and a screen. Fucking wonderful.

I mean, we should be past this phase, I think. Where they just make stories out of absolutely nothing and use a bunch of worthless words. I'm sick of how horrible online news is.

LMS cost was split between 20th and ABC.

After 6 seasons the cost of the show would be 100% ABC. It is a very expensive show to run

Tim Allen made $235,000 per episode. With Each season having 22 episodes would mean ~5 million dollars alone.

Except if the episodes make them more money than that it doesn't matter, and as the article points out they are spending far more on Modern Family

And Modern Family is a horrible show, but it gives them the message they want.

Well, Tuesday I woke up out of nowhere with this bad sore throat. As the day progressed, it evolved into a bad runny nose. By night time, I couldn't breathe out of my nose and just felt like I was floating.

Ended up taking the day off yesterday and got some cold medicine, now my nose feels totally cleared up! However now the pain seems to be moving into my lungs...
