My ShopRite has never used a credit slip afaik. Didn't even know that was a thing until yesterday. --- |

There was a really short so I figured I would just go in, get my sandwhich and go. There's this dude in front of me. He was getting a sandwich for him and his kid and I'm pretty sure he was putting everything on both sandwhiches. He was getting extras and stuff too. It actually took a while before they got to me. Then we get to the condiments and again, he's just getting so much for both sandwiches. I was actually starting to grow impatient because I've been standing behind this dude for a good 10 minutes now and we're the only ones in line. We finally get to the register. His shit comes up to 18 something dollars and he tries to pay with something off his phone or something but the girl over the counter says they don't take that, so the guy stops and ponders for a bit on his next move. I'm trying to remain calm with a reassuring smile on my face but inside I just want to start swinging at the air in frustration. The guy finally decided to dig his wallet out of his pocket but naturally he drops it and it takes him a moment to pick it up. Now get this, this motherfucker pulls out a $100 dollar bill. In my head, I'm scraming at this point. Just no! He gives it to the girl and it takes what feels like an hour. The dude and his kid finally leaves. 15+ minutes of my break gone. I go up and swipe my debate card and grab my sandwhich but I wait for my receipt. It prints out but the girl behind the counter is talking to one of her co-workers. I didn't feel like waiting anymore, I was too on edge and my patience were pushed too far to their limits, so I just swiped the receipt from the little printer and continued on. I turn back and both of the girls behind the counter were shooting me this look of complete shock and disgusts. Like, they couldn't believe that I just did that. Just took receipt and left. And I realized that I still had my irritated face on a bit. I didn't mean it to come off like that. I can sense their detest for me. I decided that I can't go back there. Was trying to fix them, but I fucked up the processes and ended up deleting my Windows 10. Ended up having to factory restore my laptop, good thing most of my important files were stored on Microsoft OneDrive (and my external hard drive, and my music on my phone), or else I would've been pissed. --- |
