Many people thought AJ had killed the main series, and then you had the whole fiasco with AAI2 never getting an official localization. Or maybe the FFVII Remake announcement since nobody actually believed that would ever happen. --- |

Wow, I knew Umineko was heavily influenced by this book, but I had no idea how much until now! I was actually able to figure out a couple of tricks due to the fact that I've read Umineko! Very enjoyable book, good cast of characters, plenty of drama and tension throughout. I don't imagine Ariana will be as Dangerous as some people fear. She's definitely got enough support to get very far, of course, but there are many people who have no interest in saving her aside from trades and that hurts you the more saves you need to advance. She might win, but I don't think it's a foregone conclusion. --- |

It's probably a coincidence that they had Lyn dress up as her, but Makoto is popular enough that Atlus could get away with making her the canon girl if they were so inclined. Now that I think about it, Persona 3 has a canon pairing, which is rather strange considering there are no "friendship" options for S. Links. Persona 4 has avoided making any sort of canon declaration probably because they created so many different ships with a sizable following. I feel like Makoto is easily the best option in Persona 5 (out of the party members anyway...!), so she might end up being canon. --- |
