Dunno about OP, but I disliked it because it was yet another anime series that ended without any kind of resolution. I kinda hate anime these days because they almost always pull that shit. Even manga has a higher chance of being cancelled before we get an ending.

My weebiness is falling apart because the weeby shit I like is actually kinda bad storytelling.

Finished Milky Holmes alternative. It wasn't bad at all. Them being competent is a refreshing change of pace from the sheer worthlessness they became at the middle of season 2. The music is from the original seasons so it's not too jarring a change either. I really liked seeing their toys actually be put to good use for once, kind of like stand powers.
Also, Sherlock swinging to the ground while holding someone via telekinesis. I never thought I could see her in a badass light. The stakes were pretty high too.

I'm 58 years old. I've had a full life when it comes to sony ponies and nintendrones and I no longer have any respect for them. Basically brow beat them any chance I get.

One thing I do is, whenever I'm in a service situation, I ALWAYS leave a mess to clean up. For example, I rock climb, and when I see there's a weeby staff member, I always turn my chalk bag over and dump it all over the floor so they'll have to clean it up. At movies, I'll see if the usher staff is mostly talking about weeb shit and buy popcorn and soda to dump on the floors after the movie.

On a related point, I'll also go out to eat and deliberately leave a small tip, with comments about what they did wrong.

Another good thing is complimenting weebs on their biggest flaw in a backhanded way that doesn't actually make them feel good. For example, last week at the bar I told a girl that I thought her latest Splatoon and Persona purchases looked foreign and that I've got a thing for girls who look foreign.. She basically spent the whole night commenting on fitting in and I taught her what an American flag and XboX is, which she started researching the cost of on her smart phone.

Basically, I stick it to them any way I can. Sony Ponies and Nintendrones these days want a total weeb empowerment that equates to supremacy, and I don't approve of it.

I'm really glad that DC is recognizing that there's a problem. I really like that they just don't want to rely on success from their movies, unlike Marvel.

For me, I haven't been buying many comics because I don't really make that much. I really wanted to wait until I got a better-paying job for me to start collecting books monthly again. But I've also been waiting for stuff to hit trades.

I've always thought that advertising comics on tv might help to jump start the industry again.

if you don't have a lot of money, paperback trades are the way to go IMO.

But seriously, I think there needs to be a move more towards web-comic shit for the major publishers. They're hanging on to what is effectively the dead newspaper format. Yes, I get that Comixology and shit is a thing, but having to pay money to read every individual comic is not a sustainable business practice despite the killer sales coming out of Rebirth.

Marvel got a huge head start by having a Marvel Unlimited service, but there is still no way to read most comics for free.

IMO, big 2 comics can adopt more of a WWE style of show.

pick a few series, say, Batman, Superman, Wonder Woman, etc... then put the issue online every month, and then every major plot point, usually every 6th issue, get people to check out "what happens next" over at comixology for $2.99 or something. Then when issue 7 comes out, move the past 6 issues into an "unlimited" style subscription where you can go through and read a backlog.

Here is the thing with digital comics. It takes away everything about how comics are supposed to be read, and until comic book sized e-readers come out, that won't change in the slightest.

I have an affinity for characters that can transform. The bigger the transformation, the better. Especially when you turn from lard into God. Also, I liked Elly a lot in season 1 and early season 2 but the later episodes actually did make me a bit irritated by how dame dame -all of the holmes became. Saku is pretty cool too, just wish she could actually do something in fights.

Welp, anime never ceases to surprise me. I never thought I'd say this but my favorite character in a show is an obese pig snouted literal human lard who has only been the butt of running gags in the past. I actually wanted pig snout to win a little. At least not lose to Milky holmes, who despite watching the show for their stupidity were starting to get on my nerves.Also, somehow I've never noticed this until just now but Kokoro's username is a reference to this show.
