This is the one I know and love :) it scared me because I looked at the first two in your post and was like "wtf these aren't what I remember..." and then I saw the OG MICHALECOLE posted... The design for the original bulbasaur card looked so ugly.. Yeah the fat pikachu is the first one that comes to mind. I think it's because they were released before the anime became acceptable. They based the cards off the original game drawings (which also included a fat pikachu that looked nothing like the tv show) Also yeah a lot of the original cards looks ugly but it's all nostalgia for me. For me, I once dated a girl who snorted when she laughed. After months of being with her, I started snorting myself (I had never had that problem my entire life before meeting her) I think it's fascinating and kind of scary that these kind of things happen. It also happens to me when I get really into a tv show. I start talking / thinking in their accent.
