Go ask a doughboy back in 1943 though if he'd rather a high felt-recoil firearm, though, and you'd get a resounding "no". There is a reason with the U.S. military went away from the .45 and .30-06 cartridges after WW2--Recoil will get you killed more consistently than whatever set of genitalia you're packing. In self-defense scenarios the #1 objective is rounds on target; This means lower recoil for better accuracy after your first shot and higher magazines (Which smaller calibers allow). They have terrible customer service so I want something else. Ordered a .40 mag 2 weeks ago and they sent me a .9mm mag. Sent it back and they received it last Thursday.
