You get the sense he genuinely cared for Star-Lord and his mother, but at the same time, he's essentially God and still believes himself to be above everyone else. Exactly. I really believed the line where he said that if he went back to Earth a 4th time, he would have stayed. Which makes the tragic turn that much worse. Take a character from your comics that either has never been relevant, or rarely so, in overall pop culture. Then craft a believable and fun action movie centered around them through the use of excellent casting, semi-decent scriptwriting, and overall good movie making skills. It's called NOT putting Zack Snyder in the director's chair. Believe it or not, but you actually can have sweet action scenes that take place in daytime! This has been needed for some time. Marvel needs some real competition, and the only one who can bring it has finally got something good in the making. This is only a good thing for movie and comic fans alike. --- You come up with something better!
