Are people seriously saying we should use other methods to subdue an attacking dog? I'm willing to bet some of these same people have never been in a situation where a dog has attacked them or anyone else. No, you don't try to subdue the dog in a nonlethal force. You put it down immediately before it takes someone's life.

I was in a situation where my neighbors were out and their dogs ended up attacking the kids out of nowhere. When I finally into their house, one of the dogs had already took several of the 5 year old boy's fingers off. The 11 year old girl had a chunk of flesh torn out of her arm and the dogs were still on edge and acting violent. If I knew it was that bad, I would have brought my gun and shot the damn things.

And no, they are not bad people or shit owners. The dogs were rescued from a shelter so obviously the previous owners did something wrong. Still, you should absolutely be willing to put a dog down if necessary. You can't take chances in these situations. It's unfortunate the dog has to die but it has to be done.

Though I'm not the biggest Indie person ever, The Witness is a great Indie title and a must play for people who prefer Indie games over triple AAA titles or the like. I enjoyed the puzzles and found the game to be beautiful.

Honestly, I have no clue as to what Voidspire Tactics is. Had to look it up on YouTube. It looks interesting so I may play it someday.

Persona Q I have mixed feelings about. One one hand, the fanservice and EO style gameplay is great. On the other hand, it's disappointing to see some of my favorite characters to be reduced to caricatures of themselves though that may be the point. Will definitely buy PQ2 if that ever becomes a thing.

Unfortunately, I'm not too familiar with SteamWorld Heist either aside from seeing it in a Nintendo Direct one time. I need to step up my game.

Assassins Creed 2

Easily the best Assassin's Creed title in my opinion. The only one I enjoyed a lot. You have excellent taste. Most of the other Assassin Creed titles fall short sadly.

Just started another run of Pillars of Eternity with update and to actually play the DLC.

Will prolly do Tyranny too, with its updates.

Great combat, world, and writing. Pillars of Eternity is a great video game and I am looking forward to the sequel immensely.

Tyranny was a nice game though I definitely wanted to see more of the story. Oh well, it's about the journey.

LOTRO - resumed playing my hunter-scholar a while ago and I'm like 2/3 of the way through Moria right now
Dark Souls 3 - switching between lightning spear cleric (NG++ grinding for covenant items) and a brand new sorcerer (never played one before, just beat Vordt)
Hotline Miami 2 - no clue how far I am through this, but it's pretty dang fun. The level length kind of gets silly sometimes though.

Borderlands The Pre Sequel is my least favorite Borderlands. I didn't hate it but I could never really get invested into it like I did with the first two Borderlands.

Heard LOTRO was really good but I wasn't too invested into LOTR so I never really gave it a shot.

Dark Souls 3 see above I think.

Hotline Miami 2 is fun, I agree. However, I vastly prefered the first game. Getting shot off screen in HM2 is obnoxious sometimes.

Definitely try Ephraim's route, especially on Difficult mode. Ephraim's route had more fun maps imo. Inevitable shout out to Phantom Ship, that map was geniunely tense and exciting, which is kind of impressive considering the usual pace at which I tackle Fog of War maps.

I'll give it a go probably after in a month or so. Don't want to get Fire Emblem fatigue halfway through since I just finished the latest release in the series. I love it when a map is tense. One of my favorite maps is in Fire Emblem Blazing Blade when your units are in this either swamp or dense forest. They start are in the center of the map and the rest is covered by Fog of War.

Really liked this game when I started playing it then over time, I started to like it less. It's mindless fun at least but it can get repetitive very fast. I actually liked the multiplayer more than I thought I would but my progress was erased out of nowhere so I never went back.

Eh, TC, all you REALLY need for EUIV is Common Sense, Art of War and Rights of Man. Most of the content comes from the patches.
If you're looking for more than those, Cossacks and Mandate of Heaven come after in importance.
The other content DLCs(Third Rome, Res Publica, Wealth of Nations, Conquest of Paradise, and El Dorado) are minor and won't be missed. Mare Nostrum is by far the worst content DLC.
Literally all the other DLC is music, unit sprites, and/or advisor portraits.

I agree with you that a lot of Pokemon Go's momentum was wasted, and I did take some time off from it. I'm playing it a lot right now because there's an event going on: triple XP for Pokemon captures, and an outbreak of Fire and Ice type Pokemon. Plus, they're planning to completely rework the Gym system into something more balanced and accessible (we hope) so I'll at least be sticking around to see what those changes are like. If they fail to impress me, I'll probably uninstall.

I did not know Pokemon Go was getting more events. I wouldn't mind getting a Sneasel since Gen 2 came out for the game. Maybe I'll come back for a bit as well.

XCOM Enemy Within was a great expansion to XCOM Enemy Unknown.

FF7 is one of my favorite games of all time. I'm playing through it again as well. My last run was Cloud/Tifa/Vincent. Think I'm going to go Cloud/Tifa/Yuffie this time around. Tifa never leaves my party.

I personally like XCOM 2 more over the others. I like the new concealment system in place and the added depth.

Your friend knows what is up for Chrono Trigger is definitely the best RPG ever made. The only flaw is that the game is far too easy.

Shantae: Half-Genie Hero (Switch version, dat HD rumble) and ARMS.

Shantae has great visuals and a great soundtrack. It's a very fun game though I have not played the Switch version.

ARMS is very fun though not $60 fun in my opinion. The combat has a surprising amount of depth to it. Ribbon Girl is the best girl, too.

almost finished with VTMB, but i'm not really playing D3 or Magic Duels much anymore. since it was abruptly announced a few days ago that there won't be any more support or content updates for Duels (in the middle of a block no less), i've kinda lost all interest in playing it and have been trying to find another decent free to play digital CCG. tried out Elder Scrolls: Legends and Gwent so far and they really haven't grabbed me, either one. probably gonna try Eternal and/or Hex out next.

Didn't like VTMB when it originally came out. I tried it again a few years ago and it enjoyed it immensely. It's a flawed game but I like it. Dialogue is very memorable.

Can't say I'm big on card games, though.

Child of Light is a beautiful game.

i just recently picked up a 360 from craigslist. had always wanted to play complex so i downloaded it. picked up tomb raider and a bunch of other used 360 games for pretty cheap.

Shadow Complex was an unexpected hit. This game was fucking fantastic. One of the best titles I played on my Xbox 360. Wouldn't even know where to begin to praise this.

2013 Tomb Raider? I was not a fan of that game at all. Felt way too much like Uncharted with set pieces and not enough like classic Tomb Raider. The game did not hold back, though. Lara dies in some pretty gruesome ways.

Patrician taste based on Shadow Complex alone.

I've been trying to finish Syndicate for months, but I keep running out of steam. Rogue went on sale on Xbox One a few weeks ago, so I've been replaying that since and occasionally going back to Syndicate.

As for Pokemon, I've been trying to finish Sun, but my fiance keeps getting mad if I go on ahead of her. I've been stuck waiting at the beginning of the 4th island for like a month, so I decided to try going back and finishing AS for access to the move tutors.

I don't blame you for running out of steam. I can only play Assassin's Creed for maybe one or two hours before I have to stop for the day.

You, my friend, are incredibly lucky to have a fiancee who is interested in some video games. I tried to get a woman to come over and play Breath of the Wild with me and that did not turn out well at all.

Alright, going into Horizon, I wanted to hate this game to death and back. However, it was a good game. Didn't really enjoy it at first but over time, the game started to grow on me. I can't really explain why. The graphics are great but a lot of other mechanics and systems feel good but done better in other titles.

Tekken 7 is a great fighting game and probably one of the only fighting games worth owning right now. I main Lucky Chloe. Sub with Akuma since I still have a special place in my heart for Street Fighter.

Puyo Puyo Tetris is a fun little game. Can't really shit on Puyo Puyo unless you are evil.

Legend of Heroes Trails in the Sky SC is a very solid game. The main plot is a little cliche in my opinion but the gameplay is still fun.

Dark Souls 3 was... good. Not as good as the first Dark Souls but there is a lot of greatness in this game such as boss battles, music, and some nostalgia wank. I do wish the game was more challenging but there may be bias since its the third Souls game. Didn't really care for PVP this time around.

I could see a 2019/2020 release. It would seem as if Nintendo is doing a theme centered around a big game for each E3. Last year was Breath of the Wild and this year is Super Mario Odyssey. I could see Metroid Prime 4 potentially getting that treatment if Nintendo decides to push the game. I could also see the new Pokemon core game for the Switch and Fire Emblem Switch getting that treatment, too.

It's a good thing Nintendo isn't Square Enix. Otherwise, we would be waiting 5+ years for this game to come out.

Bloodborne is the best game of the this generation so far.

Bloodborne is amazing but Dark Souls 3 is superior

Dark Souls 3 may have a better base game but Bloodborne is preferred personally as an overall package. The Old Hunters is perfect DLC.
