Nah doesn't bother me either tbh. I don't mind the World Cup expansion either i just don't like how they've screwed Europe over with slot allocation.

They don't even play an extra match if it's 32 teams. Just means pretty much everyone in Europe bar the minnows will always qualify.

The problem with the 24 and 48 team format is the knockout round isn't fair on some teams. For example the winners of groups C and F at these Euros won't play another group winner until the semi final at the earliest. Then you've got the winner of groups A and D having to play a runner up instead of a 3rd place team. At least with 16 and 32 teams everything is fair in the knockout rounds.

Yeah i can easily see Serbia and Denmark shutting us out and then it'll be a 2010 WC scenario all over again when we limp over the line in the last match.

Gonna be honest i can hardly remember wtf happened in any of the games before Cold Steel. Sky 1 is 100% the worst though as all you do is walk around 5 cities to become a Bracer.

Done the prologue. I'm liking the setting and new characters. Not really sure on the battle system though. Might take some getting used to but it feels really weird. As someone that usually prefers turn based i think i might actually like the action combat better.

The press and pundits still bang on that we have the best team in the world. I don't think they realise that having a lot of good players doesn't mean you automatically win everything. If the team has no chemistry you're screwed. Reminds me of the old LMA Manager days when i used to put the infinite money cheat in to buy all the best players and then wonder why i was still losing.

So this is the Euro 2024 waiting room then. I predict a nice quarter final exit for England. Unless something goes completely off course then they'll be playing Italy or Croatia and we all know what happens when England face anyone with an ounce of skill in a knockout game.

I thought it was Balrog when i first saw it too. Was about to be disappointed as it meant Dudley was basically screwed.

I'm still waiting for a Tales battle system to click with me. I've played them all since Xillia and that game is probably the closest i've come to getting it. The rest i usually just get destroyed by bosses even on easy difficulty.

Already got this on preorder but i might give this demo a try and see how i feel about the new characters and setting. If i'm not really feeling it i might cancel and wait for a cheaper price. Crazy that we're 10 games in and haven't really seen anything on Calvard.

I'm one of the few that actually liked both these games so we'll see what comes of it. Heard the good team is working on CV and the RE3 team is working on RE0.

I didn't think Duvalie was a member of Ouroborous? I'm sure there's a scene where she says she's only helping out because of 'her lord'.

This series triggers me that it never kills people off fully. I think most people would've been ok with Crow Angelica and George being killed off. Towa is probably the only one universally liked anyway.

If anyone ever tops Angelica for worst character i'll be impressed

Patrick ended up being pretty cool. DIdn't like how they just make you imagine what happened to make him and Rean mates though.

This. I can't stand Millium at all. Also manages to bring Jusis down because for some reason they have to be best friends or whatever the hell they have going on there.

Anelace was one of the best characters in Sky.

Gauis and Elliot have no reason to be part of the story. Elliot only cared about music and they randomly gave Gauis a bigger role just to keep him relevent.

I always liked Rinoa the best. Never really liked Zell seemed way too much like the dumb friend found in the Persona games.

Carnelia is literally in five games - all of Sky and both CS1/2

The only books i read were Red Moon Rose and 3 & 9 both via Youtube. Although the former ended up being a bit of a waste of time given it wasn't important to the story at all even though a lot of people were predicting it would be.

I had no idea Carnelia was about Tovel so i was only talking about the manga.

I'll hold my hands up to that mistake then. Although i never really enjoyed Sky all that much so kinda just rushed through them so i had a better understanding before Cold Steel 3 came out.

I don't really care for Toval. If you didn't read the manga or whatever the hell it is he appears in before playing Cold Steel he's kinda just some guy that talks about some girl you have no idea about. Swin and Nadia are guilty of this as well but at least their stuff is in the games.

Precisely why I think Gran Turismo is boring, and why I'm surprised it finished first. I much prefer games that are wild and unrealistic to an experience I can get by hopping in my own car and driving.

Mario Kart winning that poll surprises me. You get hit by lightning or a blue shell and you're dead. Gran Turismo is literally 6 normal cars on normal roads for 3 laps.

That's exactly what a lot of people here don't get. Gamers will know most characters but it's the general public that swings it. Plus the UK was always Sega and Sony territory back in the day.

It's 3/4 in a format that makes sense.

I tried levelling everyone equally in Persona 3 and it was a nightmare.

You're pretty much forced to use everyone in FFX unless you wanna spend ages chipping away at certain enemies in fights.

I haven't played either but Rebirth looks a hell of a lot more fun than being stuck in Midgar for a full game.

First half is better than the second but it's still a great film overall.

Atlus used to be against PC until Sega made them release Catherine and P4 on PC. The sales did the talking.
