Honestly kinda the impression I get.

Like, I love challenging games, the more a game kicks my ass the happier I am with it(that's probably why Fighters are my favorite genre)... But at the end of the day, it's a game. Let people enjoy it, you can continue to do whatever you want with the game. Unless it was "God Mode forced on at start, can't turn it off" I would have some issue with that... But this? Nah, this is fine.

I don't want there to be an easy mode but did entertain the idea. I don't like it as a concept, but do enjoy brainstorming while bored.

Best I could get that wouldn't outright break the game: Two summonable NPCs near the beginning of each area(say, a tanky STR guy, and a int/fai hybrid support caster, can only bring one though), start the game with two extra flasks(Cap remains the same), a reusable item to heal your NPC summons (2 uses, rechargeable at bonfire, disabled during online play).

I feel like that would be enough to help most people having difficulty get through without making the game an easy stomp completely.

This would be a decent way to make game key cards not completely nonsensical. But I would wager it'd likely be really easy to pirate if they have to be offline capable so it'd likely be the DRM laden apocalypse.

The game isn't really difficult to begin with. Let people have their story mode, it doesn't cheapen whatever challenges you've done. The story in the game is pretty damn easy overall and that's who this stuff is catered to, people who want to experience that.

Not to mention people who might want a refresher before part 3 but don't want to sink hours into gameplay just for the story.

From personal experience in my life, accelerating bad things doesn't lead to anything good. People are too stubborn and will just blame everyone else for things getting worse, and in the meantime how bad things are just goes off the rails and can't stop getting worse.

Basically ruined half of my adult life by doing that, unintentionally mind. Seen it happen to other people, too. It'll play out the same here. Nobody wakes up to that shit on their own, someone needs to help them.

Don't participate in social media outside of here, and I guess technically YouTube but I primarily just listen to music there, but I can't say I've seen terribly much of a positive impact as an outsider. Never set foot even on places like reddit, Twitter, Instagram, whatever.

Truth constantly muddied, and even when it's revealed in what should be an indisputable way there's still endless screaming into the void about it. Most people I have known for long enough certainly don't seem any happier from social media than they were before. People flocked to places where corporate influence could be exerted on what they see and how they see it.

Dunno, outside of being awesome for the advertisement industry, can't say I've noticed it being a good thing anywhere else. I guess it sped up the delivery of news, but it also made it way easier to twist the narrative into whatever you want it to be, too.

The reason I wondered how Harada knew is exactly because Harada is someone who, for the most part, is outside the vtuber fan space.

Hence my guess that she probably told him directly before leaving Kurosanji.
Harada did claim Rosemi as his oshi, even popping in chat during non-Tekken streams and once telling someone complaining on Twitter about Tekken 8 while she was streaming to "shut up and watch Rosemi." So I think it's fair to say he was a genuine fan of hers at least lol, so yeah she probably told him herself thinking of it

My problem with FF7R was with the marketing, which marketed it as a legitimate remake initially. The game itself is fine barring a few glaring issues that were largely fixed(imo) in Rebirth.

Spoilers, but spoilering it still just so people don't complain: It's closer to a multiverse/alternate timeline story than a remake. Which is alright, a bit of a trope that I despise, but the nostalgia covers it acceptably for me.

America is designed for apathy.

Promised a dream that gets crushed by debt at every turn, live to work instead of work to live, go home to your car or postage stamp of an apartment, watch the news telling you how fucked everyone and thing is, be told you're not doing enough at every possible moment, no reward for loyalty so even the act of maintaining employment is taxing.

The average voter is, by design, supposed to be too apathetic to care about politics by virtue of exhaustion. So our government can keep the wheels of corruption turning.

If hypothetically everything horny gets censored, AI loses its own fuel.
As though corporations don't already have data repositories. Much in the same way you can censor then but anyone with a bit of desire to see it will still easily be able to find a way (not to mention AI already using torrents and the like for data of questionable legality).

kirbymuncher posted...
This feels like some crazy conspiracy theory considering basically all the AI companies also make significant efforts to censor their own AI, get it to be less horny, block horny requests, etc

Everyone is trying to censor that sort of thing, the difference is that they just haven't figured out how to actually get it to work with AI yet
And yet you can usually pay to get around those blocks on a number of models.

We live in a time where people get whatever they want, whenever they want, and barely think of impact. Memes influencing their opinions on politics is the peak of idiocy. Not to mention the utter lack of verification and large scale use of cherry picking sources that only verified their claims.

Many of them barely have a thought in their head that isn't overtly malicious until the impacts of their actions effect them. Hindsight is 20/20 as they say, but it buys no sympathy from me.
