Because typically those classes are taught fully in English to help immerse the students. Same thing with other countries. One of my former co-workers lived in China for a year teaching English. She didn't speak any Chinese though.

In the current mass shooter climate, I'm against it. But I'd just avoid going to that show if I know ahead of time that they require phones to be locked up. I always prefer to just live in the moment rather than take a bunch of photos/videos. But I'd want to be able to access my phone ASAP if there's an emergency.

It's literally a few streets. It's not even legally enforced. And foreign tourists, despite being the problem (because rude tourists are absolutely a problem) are not being singled out, the rule says local residents are allowed to use the streets, not anyone else.

I don't think people are being intentionally hateful of Japan or anything. Hell, a lot of guys here fetishize the hell out of Japan and Japanese culture. But stories about the xenophobia spread around so much that you don't really question it.

So I appreciate the stories of first hand experience with a country I've never been to. Because I'm admittedly a bit apprehensive about visiting some countries (not just Japan) when I hear about how they view people of color. Yeah, we're treated like shit here in America too, but at least it's hate in a place and language that I'm familiar with.

I've used Nexus Mods for years now and I haven't paid a single cent to download mods or to use their mod manager. It's completely optional to pay.

If a game developer hosted all mods for free and had an optional paid membership, I don't think people would be mad. People were mad at Bethesda because they had mods that you couldn't get without paying extra money. Which is scummy

That would be playing with fire for me. The reason I haven't touched Brave Exvius in years was because I was spending tons of money on it. Not gonna risk falling back into that constantly lol.

But why not try some MMO's if you need new games to kill time with? Those can be a lot of fun and keep you occupied for a while. One MMO that had a good story and a nice anime aesthetic was 'Closers Online'

Not that I know of. The Chinese server shut down in 2022, but the global version is still up and running. People are speculating that it's dying, but in the same way that people have been saying "gamefaqs is dying" for years now

I remember really enjoying the story for Final Fantasy Brave Exvius. I haven't touched that game in years though, so I don't know if the quality has held up with newer story additions.

Hell yes! This is something I've been waiting for from Sony. I only have a PS5 so I can play the exclusives I'm interested in ASAP. But if they launch on PC simultaneously, instead of years later, then that's one less console I need.

Steak is beef

At restaurants, the different preparation styles for the meat are listed separately in the menu. So you might see something like ground beef, machaca (shredded beef) and steak all listed.

I hate the animation style, but hopefully the writing is decent. The writing for the original series fell off a cliff for the last few seasons. So many episodes of "oh no, we can't fix this because we lost our wands again."

Good advice. Not gonna lie though, I dread the day my son starts asking about why his mom and I broke up. It will be so awkward to have to explain that his mom cheated on me

I used to be quite proud of my looks. I'm in excellent physical shape. But over time I started losing my hair and have to shave my head to have a "look" now that isn't just balding. I'm also short, at 5'7". So, even though I used to have confidence in my looks, over a decade of online dating has destroyed my confidence. Often times I feel like I'm too ugly to leave the house.

Ironically, I've gotten with over 30 women. So my confidence used to carry me apparently. But it's gone now.

No... They're not talking about adding more content to the barren ass planets. They're talking about making the map more detailed. Like when you go into the menu and open the map for the area you're in... That's what's getting updated lol.

These days my go to is the cravings box. $5.99 for a crunchwrap, beefy 5 layer burrito, cinnamon twists and a medium drink. Way cheaper than their normal combos and still a good amount of food.

Outside of that, my go to is usually the mexican pizza, but the quality of it is highly dependent on how good the location is about cleaning their fryer. If the grease is old, the mexican pizza shells taste horrible, which ruins the whole thing.
