Even if you're familiar with the concept, doesn't mean you're going to get into it. I definitely considered Attack On Titan, but decided against it because even for a newer series it's already quite lengthy.

to be fair, most kids arent going to go from the very beginning anyway, its just going to be from a random episode that pops up on television. I guess thats the general thought behind the Pokemon/Sailor types rather than the adults trying to get deeper into the genre types

makes it pretty interesting how much the streaming era is going to affect this because you would basically be asked to start from episode 1 in a lot of cases. But theres also FAST channels that exclusively just drop you in too I guess
