The show explicitly states he did not do this towards the end and spells out who did, though. This. It wasnt him. Another thing is I love the guys acting. He comes off broken from his upbringing in a really believable way. Thats compelling to me. Though sometimes Kubrick becomes a victim of his own tricks. I find these movies flawed mostly but the first is better.
