so like that'd go, probably get a 7800X3D, would obviously have to get a new mobo to fit and RAM cuz the socket changed and DDR+1'd. probably a new cooler too, likely AOI water for small form factor? i have storage, gpu, possibly PSU (if i can find a small case that will fit a normal sized PSU, not opposed to buying a smaller one tho), and periphs. what are some neat small form cases that will fit a 3.5 slot card? i stupidly bought a stupidly large 3080ti and it runs just fine so absolutely do not feel the need to upgrade that. --- five, five, five, jack -five nobs |

You're not wrong, but also, I do get why Arceus ran better. It was basically a tech demo turned into a game, and it uses "zones," whereas Scarlet/Violet are legitimately open world for the entire game. Unfortunately, it ended up being to Scarlet/Violet's detriment, from a technical standpoint, since it caused them to have a myriad of technical issues.I more meant like the gameplay changes that Arceus made rather than technical, though that's not to be entirely overlooked either. --- five, five, five, jack -five nobs |

Yeah, definitely.Scar/Vio is the first mainline Pokemon since Silver that really caught that early magic for me. I'm only intimately familiar with two of their albums, Midnight Boom and Blood Pressures, both of which I love. So I listened to their 4 other EPs and their b-side collection recently on my walks to and from work and my biggest takeaway is that I wish I wasn't listening to music in case the turkeys were back in the neighborhood. I think part of it has to do with reflections.Most LEGO bricks are fairly glossy though. They are much more uniform in shape I guess, so maybe the reflections aren't as amusing or interesting. aarrgus posted... Guardians of the Galaxy 3 I think was what made me notice it, jesus CHRIST that was awful. Discovering new to me artists doesn't help either. There is literally 0 setting where I have any desire to listen to music, and when I have to (like at work, where I can literally pick the music, and have to cuz I'm the first person in) I don't enjoy it.
