Woohoo, my favorites are statistically better than almost everyone's.

Of the users who submitted a proper top 5 (39 in total) you easily cleared for having the best 5th finish at 59th place (Glalie). Next closest were VI 81st and Ulti 88th so yeah - not too shabby!

Edit: I didn't look at stingers sinced I credited him as having 6 with the extra "Yamper" post. His 5th out of 6 would be the 60th place Misdreavus so that makes it closer. If we counted his original top 5 post then it'd be 65th place Xatu but either way, that's the 2nd-best "5th place" over VI and Ulti.

For pokemon that appeared on more than two Top 5 lists there were 12 in all, half on three and half on four. The only one of them to successfully make the deep run was Krookodile so was certainly rooting for him at the end there. Here's how they looked

This got me thinking about how things would change if I ran user's medians (which would be whatever the 3rd place of their top 5 would be) instead of averages, and it definitely helps in your case - your Mewtwo 43rd would put you in a tie for 9th with me and tazzy.

bananor is hardest hit since his first three dropped in 149th, 148th and 145th...yikes.

For average placements of their post lists, Ulti wins with an avg. of 34.2, which included 2nd place Articuno, and two others in the top 20. his 5th being 88th place also really helped keep the average up.

Note that everyone's credited with 5 nominations other than myself and Emeraldegg (who only made 1, to my benefit and his detriment, poor Dragonite), stingers had 6 due to making another post that said "Yamper" which I just added to his original 5, and swordz with 7 since he nommed originals & Mega for 2 of his 5. The quick Mega slaughter did not help him out...

And even with banshiryuu's Kabutops victory, 125th Hawlucha and 114th Deoxys-Defense dragged down his average enough to only place 18th on an average basis.
