The huge post, list of resources, and focus on how "everyone" must be accepted and that "heated discussion" must remain "civil" is a fairly obvious message to trans people to either make sure bigots feel comfortable or to leave. I fully believe they'll mod blatant transphobia but between the politics ban, removal of the Sexuality board, and the horrendous both-sidesing in the anti-transphobia post it's loud and clear that they're going to moderate trans people for making bigots uncomfortable much more harshly than the reverse. all this. it's not the worst thing I've ever seen but I have veeeerrrry little faith it's gonna work out well for my peeps --- New name, new gender, same great Bolo flavor! On the other hand, I am absolutely convinced that Gothita would have had the lowest score of the contest if not for low votals. 31 out of 34 ballots voted for her - of those, just two were +1's, and every single other ballot cast (29 out of 34) was a -2 or a -3.
