I never knew. I guess I didn't play 4 long enough to get to what is apparently the main aspect of the game. Tells you right there how bad of a game it is, since I've beaten 2 and 3 multiple times.

I thought that was #3? I've definitely done the tournament a couple of times, and I can't imagine I've played 4 more than once. Although, maybe both have a tournament arc?

I mean, it is widely considered the worst game in the series. There are probably like 6 people who played it first and love it due to nostalgia, but every one else knows it's terrible.

One of the things I loved most about San Andreas was the car customization, and how many garages you could have.

On one of my first playthroughs, maybe even my original file, I bought every property with a garage and loaded them up with cars that fit the neighborhood. I had low-riders in Los Santos, a pickup truck in the country, fancy cars in San Fierro, etc. I also filled my airplane hangar as full as I could with decked out sports cars.

If you're thinking about trying it, or replaying it, look up DevilutionX. It adds some nice QoL features to the game, with out changing the feel of it. My favorite features:

-You can hold click to keep attacking or walking, rather than having to click for every attack or movement
-You can set it so pressing a hotkey casts the spell assigned to it, rather than just switching your active spell
-Gillian (the barmaid) acts as a shared stash, so you can trade between your own characters

I didn't like it, mostly because Sweet is a loser and ruins any scene he's in. Should have left him in Los Santos.

Also, I don't think there were as many hints at Ryder being a traitor, compared to Big Smoke. Maybe more was planned, but it felt like it came out of no where.

Imagine a four-way where the north/south does not have a sign and the east/west does.

So for the first, Pengy is going north/south and does not have a stop sign, someone who does at the East/west street pulls out and cuts him off as though Pengy was expected to stop.

In the latter, someone is approaching from the opposite direction as Pengy, still on the street with no stop sign. Pengy is turning, they stop and wave as though they do have a stop sign, which only serves to disrupt traffic in their lane.

I think *maybe* this happens because most intersections in this area (that don't use traffic lights) are a 4-way stop. So people don't look for the signs, they just figure it's a 4-way stop.

There's an intersection I take to work that people just can NOT fucking figure out how to navigate. It's extremely simple, it's a four-way intersection, the two going "across" have a stop sign, the two going up/down do not. I turn left there, with no stop sign. If someone is turning left from their stop sign, 70% of the time they cut me off. If some one is coming up straight, 90% of the time they stop to wave me through.

Dark Cloud 2 is incredible, but I highly recommend taking a break from the series before diving in. It's very much a different game from the first, but the gameplay loop is similar enough that I don't think you can fully enjoy it directly after playing the original.

It makes total sense, though. Three companies (or is it two now?) own 97% of the internet service in the country. Why would they allow or work for faster speeds when they can just charge you 200 bucks a month for shitty service, since you have no alternatives?

It was supposedly in Kurast. There was a secret entrance on the side of the map that led directly to Mephisto. I've never found it but others claimed to have found it easily.

Sounds like an unverified rumor or troll. Kurast is pretty small, it would not be hard to find something in there.

Weird gimmick, but Space Cases was a legitimately good show. It's too bad they cancelled it before anything was resolved.

Diablo 2. I played it a lot in high school, so there's a lot of nostalgia factor. And it's a pretty easy, mindless game, so it's fun to just zone out and slaughter hordes of monsters.

Stardew Valley, I don't think this one needs an explanation

Mega Man Battle Network series. Some nostalgia here, but I also like how the games are pretty chill. There's some drama for sure, but everything always turns out fine.

It worked perfectly as far as Im concerned. The natural progression of those games seemed amazing at the time. Yoshi gave SMW a feeling that you were playing with super power.

Plus he fit with the dinosaur theme. He would have been a bit out of place in the earlier games.

I liked this series, but the giant grins of the moon and planets are kind of goofy. One comment said they remind them of the Annoying Orange, and I can't unsee it.

Even if they got it, they wouldn't care, because they think the dictator we got is doing the things they want.

Dogs are great, it's the people who can't or won't control them that are the problem.

Is this about the movie where the kid gets abducted by aliens? I know this is just how it works these days, but I think the trailer showed way too much. What's the point of watching the movie when we've already seen their homeworld?

It would have been more interesting to show the kid being obsessed with aliens, and end the trailer with him getting beamed up. That would show what it's about, but would leave some mystery.
