Like if I had never played the games and thought it was its own new thing, it would be fine enough although even then it's purely just "fine". They really make Lady want to say fuck though huh, normally I'm perfectly fine with that but boy they really lay it on thick with it. In general though something just feels off about it, like they got the basic gist of Devil May Cry but not really much more than that. | Bane_Of_Despair 04/06/25 1:08:20 PM #131 | Called the final 3 right, nice I listened to Imaginal Disk a little bit after it released due to all the hype and talk it was getting, and then again a few days ago to refresh my thoughts for this eventual #1 placement, and yea I feel about the same as I did when I first heard it. It's certainly a good album, but it's not a great album to me and I'm not entirely sure why. It's almost too...agreeable to me in a sense, which doesn't really make sense and is going to make me sound like the biggest asshole and I don't mean to be. It just isn't the kind of album that I would get randomly in the mood to throw on and listen to again, but I can totally see why it would be for others. --- You were the cancer, that's all you'll ever be I really messed up this contest, but azuarc gave it a Breath of fresh air |

Trip Hop is such a vibe, one of the many reasons I love Bjork's Post so much and this album does a great job with it too. Beth's vocals are classy, and the backing beats and instrumentals are so eerie yet pleasant. I could understand the album maybe running a bit long for some once you hear like, the first 6 or 7 songs but I think it uses its time well.
