It makes perfect sense, you would have to create unique animations for every character and you can't feasibly do that for a roster this big

yeah imagine the workload to make 7 animations! especially when they should all presumably be in roughly the same pose. riot would never make a profit

PW is a bit different because by virtue of the format every 'minor' character will have some kind of dialogue or at least text description to give you an idea of their personality. For street fighter, you can start ranking people that you may see in the background of a stage or something. I think it should be limited to people that have some kind of dialogue or lore to them for sure

I don't hate spirit channeling but I do wish it was used a little less when the cases themselves don't revolve around it

That said I also ranked viola somewhat high so maybe you're onto something with your theory...
