That game was surprisingly decent for a movie-tie in in all honesty. Sort of disappointed that Traveller's Tales just makes Lego games nowadays, even if they are decent from what I heard. Can't really blame them for sticking to a niche though.

I remember enjoying Walker Texas Ranger a lot when I was younger, but I've been watching reruns of it on the local stations here and man, maybe it's because I "grew up" or something but it's just really... boring. I always found places like that one fatpeoplehate or whatever subreddit pretty strange. They were like obsessed with hating fat people. I don't think they even cared reducing obesity, they just saw fat people as easy targets to lash out their frustrations in life.

Not that I'm saying I'm "morally superior" to these types that make hating fat people their entire life style, but I just have too much to do and a lot to worry about to expend my already low energy to expend dragging down people who's crime is that they're fat.

This will probably be an unpopular opinion but I kinda feel like the fact that Biden practically publicly endorsed Harris the moment he announced his quitting gives me a bit of hope. Especially since as someone else mentioned, republicans were definitely focused on making Biden look bad, and now they have to come up with a new strategy. And people like me who were concerned with Biden being too old now aren't going to worry about the health of the person they want to vote for. Mind you I was always going to vote blue even if Biden was still in because holy fucking shit do we need someone to stop any possibility of Project 2025 becoming a reality.

Also the fact that Harris is a woman maybe enough to get the more progressive types to get out there and vote. We don't exactly have the privilege of time, but then again neither do democrats or republicans for that matter. I mean, I'm sure Trump believes that he has this election in the bag, but so did Hilary and looked how that turned out.

I will say that those in power who were wanting Biden to drop out had better put their money where their mouth is (not literally) and support Harris. Not like they have the option to do anything else.

I was under the impression that there's nothing in the shinigami realm (I think that's what it's called) and all everyone does there is gamble because they're bored.

In terms of mixed gender talents, the EU-focused Globie exists, even if they are no where near as big as NijiEN was in their prime. As for competition, I don't think it's as simple as NijiEN vs. HoloEN. I think it's more like HoloEN having a certain niche vs. NijiEN having a certain niche, and with NijiEN crapping the bed the people who enjoyed NijiEN don't have much alternatives at the moment if they don't enjoy the way Hololive does things. Weirdly enough, HoloEN management kinda dropped the ball when it came to handling ENstars by not understanding that the boys can't be just a replacement for the girls. They seem to have hopefully learned their lesson, but hololive subreddit will never be the same.

And it's not like the possibility of Anycolor actually improving things with NijiEN is 0% but it's more likely they won't taking into account their history.

As for non-black(?) corpos V4Mirai and PixelLink seems to be one I've been watching that at least seem to be good. Although as I've learned the hard way with VReverie, you can never be completely sure (but I kinda hope the later is good for the sake of a certain duck that joined recently). But they have all female talents if that's a factor. And of course there's VShojo.

Also for some reason, several recent black vtuber corpos seem to originate from Singapore for whatever reason.

Interesting that Fulp mentioned the use of Princess Peach's 3D model in adult art being a factor in all of this. I could see how Nintendo lawyers taking advantage of this if said 3D models was just a modification of an official one used in the games. Kinda surprised Newgrounds managed to survive so long at this point though, especially with hosting adult art which has been a big issue these days.
