Gave it a couple tries and was able to get it down to 10. Pretty lucky some places, don't really believe I would be able to make it much lower.

He was fully aware of the relationship Anakin and Palpatine had, but put absolutely zero thought into how Anakin would react if he tried to extra-judicially murder Palpatine in front of him.

Would be a bad sign if that guy was a head of any order.

Trump and Putin decide to merge Russia and America into one big oligarchical ****hole. It doesn't matter that Russia offers basically nothing in this scenario.

Yeah Joker is the far and away #1.

There's a bunch you could get away with for #2, but its still a distant #2.

XY is the game that's sort of stuck with me the most of any of the "recent" pokemon games. Its good enough as it is, but never felt like they actually had a chance to finish it the way they did with other games.

First off, best art style - the "2D style, but in 3D" was fantastic and its such a shame they seemingly immediately abandoned it with Gen 7.

Second, never getting the "third version" to make a more definitive game, makes the whole thing feel so weird. Because there's so much that's underbaked, but in a way that feels like they just didn't have the ability to finish it on time. Like you have 1/2 the puzzle pieces, and you can tell how all the missing pieces fit in, but they just aren't there.

It's the only gen I feel comes off as "unfinished". There are parts I don't like about other games, but stuff like SV feels like its a "complete" game and pretty much what GF was going for, but I don't see that for XY, and so its always stuck with me. Like on its own as it is, its "fine", but it feels like there was so much more, in a way that makes you feel like you didn't get to see the "true" version.

Honestly, most of the franchise isn't very good.

The first movie was good, but that seems like almost an accident. The Book its based on reads like a cheap B-movie on the SyFy channel, its impressive they managed to avoid that so hard.

None of the other movies really do that though.

Jurassic World is fun as like, a big disaster movie, but instead of like, a big hurricane, its a bunch of dinosaurs attacking and I can respect that.

Fallen Kingdom was interesting, but felt like they were trying to push a theme, but weren't willing to actually support it. Like there's a clear theme in the movie thats like "conservation bad?" and then at the end just go "no its good lol" its so weird and clunky and you don't really believe the movie believes its own statement. But this one is the only one I think could have actually have been any better than it ended up.

Like, The Jurassic Park/World movie series is like, max 2/7 right now. At this point nobody should really be expecting them to be good.

Looks pretty dope, but serious question about something going on in AEW here: Who is the Edge/Christian reunion for?

They broke up as a tag team almost a full 25 years ago. In the 18 years I've watched Pro Wrestling, I think they've teamed together once? (now twice I guess). Its been mentioned they were friends, but the two careers really haven't actually intersected very much since the team split up. My entire frame of reference for both of their very successful singles careers have zero influence from them being a tag team.

An easy one this time, but I'm pretty happy about it - I've been doing awful my first runs the last couple.

Does Rambo need an origin story? I thought part of the point was that he wasn't that special in regards to being a Vietnam vet.

The Ring just completes his outfit in a way that makes it abundantly clear that without it Sauron doesn't have "the fit" and therefore, isn't fit to rule middle earth.

I remember his kickstarter for this - seemed like a kind of generic story, but a low budget low risk horror movie is probably a great place to start out.

Trailer does seem kind of generic, but definitely comes off as a potentially fun start to open more doors down the line.

I'm actually looking forward to this - might even actually buy a movie like a weirdo to show support.

Stuckmann seems like a pretty cool dude, hope this ends up really working out for him.

His "President Trump" act has always been performative, and in this term we're seeing him get older and older. Mind's the first thing to go and all that jazz.

He was already sundowning during his first term, and you could see just how muchTrump was already slowing down if you compared his 2024 run with his 2016 one. And it seems like he's getting worse quickly.

The problem is that unlike Joe Biden, nobody expects Trump to be capable of doing anything.

Its weird they aren't really trying to distract from it like they were with Biden - they're just letting Trump go out and do whatever because it doesn't matter if Trump is competent or not.

Was doing pretty well until the last one. Just could not make that down shot at the end.

I would love to be able to play some of the classic PS games on my Xbox. Especially given the PS5 and Series X are really similar anyways - when the consoles were coming out the main comments was that they were both just PCs now as it was.

Especially since Sony has had some success sending games to Steam and PC, and the "console war" at this point is a pretty one-sided beatdown, it would make a ton of sense to put the exclusives everywhere.

Every third party game is on both PS and Xbox anyways, I can't imagine porting across consoles would really be that difficult.

Apple's over-pricing has had a more negative impact, because other smartphones have realized they can just charge the same for their high-end phones, and nobody will bat an eye. So there basically isn't an "Apple Tax" anymore, or at least not to the extent there used to be, because Samsung and Google and whatnot have just joined in.

Also, I'm still salty about Apple removing the headphone jack.

Nintendo definitely has problems - If I go back and look for a Switch game from 4 years ago, it's more expensive now than it was then - and that's not even accounting for inflation.

A New Hope is the best Star Wars movie. But the only one I'd put in my top 3 - I think Empire is mad overrated.

What are your 3 favourite Star Wars movies in that case? Though my most irritating Star Wars take is just "I liked The Last Jedi"

Thats the issue, its not the age gap itself, its when the age gap is taking place. As I said above, theres just so much a person experiences and goes through at 19, which youve likely already done long ago at 27.

Did it again and was able to get my score up to 20 from 38. Still don't know how to get the goal without a ton of shots tho.

I mean, legally there's nothing wrong, but big age gaps are way grosser the younger one of them is. There's so much life experiences that you have between ages 19 and 27, the one who's 27 is clearly a problem here, much moreso than if it was 27 and 35, even though that's the same age gap.

Blue states like California believe in things like "fairness" and "not being evil", so campaigning against something like blatant partisan gerrymandering might actually go somewhere. And like, Schwarzenegger is correct - Gerrymandering is bull**** and should be condemned.

Texas is already the most gerrymandered state in the nation, and especially Texas has shown they'll gladly just like, be evil. So campaigning like this in Texas will go nowhere.

The problem is rather Arnold is seemingly unable to read the room, realizing that California's gerrymandering here is very obviously directly targeted, and fighting the response is basically just being pro-fascist takeover.

Or Arnold is aware, but given he's Austrian and has repeatedly spoken publicly about how bad the nazis were, maybe he's making a good-natured mistake.

I don't think I've ever struggled this much on one wow. Just could not get that second checkpoint, and then I kept knocking the ball all the way back down at the top for the finish.

Cena's mid-life crisis apparently came to an end just with like, a stern talking to. That's what's really crazy.

Apparently that's the real goal - stern talking to's #1-33 won't work, but that 34th one will be the charm.

I think its just an excuse to get your data. They can blame "protecting the children" or whatever, and then make it mandatory for you to provide your drivers license, address, picture, etc... just to go use it, and that means that all these evil tech companies harvesting your data as much as possible now just... have even more power.

And of course, it certainly helps its also an avenue for control and far-right politics and whatnot.

The GOT ending was an ending that on paper was perfectly fine, and everyone would have probably been happy with it (even the stupid parts) had the show just spent more time building it up. That ending for like, a GOT season 12 probably would've been well received.

TLJ was a competently written film that on paper did what people were looking for following TFA being seemingly too nostalgic and formulaic. It did a good job dealing with J.J. Abrams stupid mystery boxes that obviously had no planned solution, and set up for a very exciting final movie. But it wasn't the movie "Star Wars fans" wanted, and then Disney completely folded so hard half of the final movie was basically actively undoing anything new TLJ tried to do.

IMO, TLJ was much better, but the ending of Game of Thrones didn't get so much backlash that House of The Dragon's first season was dedicated to directly undermining it like The Rise of Skywalker did to The Last Jedi.

I remember waiting for my drivers test I parked next to a car the same make/model, and the person who finished their test while I was waiting got into my car by accident. They didn't notice it was the wrong car until the door was open and they were sitting down.

And I was just sitting there in front of the car being surprised that actually happens.

Remember that time HBK threw Marty Janetty through a glass window and then never won a match again because that's a horrible thing to do and it would be bad if a bad person won?

As far as the televised stuff goes, Marty won that feud. He beat HBK for the IC title in May 93, and that was the end of the rivalry, since HBK then paired up with Diesel (and then took the IC title back at a house show), and Marty continued to not do much.

tbf, this has already been their defence. IIRC its WWE's official defense as well.

And I mean, right out of the invasion, it would make sense that was at least, the original plan. However, once the racial undertones and stuff like this promo took the forefront, WWE should have changed direction.

Generally, WWE has been fairly good in the "if the heel crosses the line, they do have to lose" category at least. Though that also makes this one stand out much more.

I agree that if Booker had gone on to win the feud it would have hit differently. I'm not totally opposed to this kind of thing being done by a character/heel/villain, but the organisation shouldn't essentially endorse it by having him go on to win.

Its not rare in Pro Wrestling to have the bad guy be racist/sexist/whatever, but general basic storytelling sort of means if your bad guy does something that bad, they do have to lose the feud, and the good guy gets the well-deserved win. There are a couple times this hasn't been the case, and its always awful when they make that move.

Kamala was the de-facto face of the DNC after the election. Instead of making a spectacle out of resisting Trump, she ****ed off to write a book, while every important Democrat rolled over and let Trump do whatever. Kamala is back, but only to support her book sales. It very much comes off like Kamala doesn't give a **** about America after losing the election.

When Trump lost in 2020, he spent every minute of the next 4 years screaming to high heavens about what garbage Joe Biden and the Democrats were getting up to. Trump and his cronies are actually doing this, and the closest thing we'll get is a performative handwave from democrats.

Trump ran on doing all of this - everyone who cared knew already, so more of just Trump being evil isn't doing anything out of place. Everyone is disappointed that the Democrats aren't doing anything to really fight back.

Kamala isn't the problem, but she is sort of the face of everything currently wrong with the democratic party.

"Swing Voter" generally falls into the same line as "Independent" wherein what's actually being said is "I'm afraid to admit who I'm voting for because even I know its the wrong choice".
