I'll die on the hill defending against claims saying the game has no story. It's not some cutscene-heavy twisty turny rollercoaster like 1-3 but it definitely has a story and lots of worldbuildng that I'm very fond of.

No, but it introduces a new and very big mystery and a new smaller mystery. Hopefully we get some elaboration and sequel news.

I used it for a time, I haven't gotten a physical game in forever. If you still use physical games and you're more of a one n done type like me, I think it's a great deal. Especially with new launches and/or Nintendo games. And if want to keep games they have some good deals, especially around the holidays.

Maybe you just don't click, I dunno. Some things are like that. Like I felt Alhaitham was kind of clunky and ultimately decided to stop trying. Sucks, but ><

Game of the year is a dumb concept, but this is the game of the year 2025 until it comes out.

I think English is the original language despite the devs being a French studio.

Finished the archon quest earlier today and Mihoyo is already doing fantastic with it. So much cool, emotional stuff happened I had to remind myself that this patch isn't even the finale and we still have that coming up in 5.3!

yeah I'm halfway through Act IV now and Citlali went from me barely noticing her to her becoming a must pull. What a FUN character lol. I love Ororon, too.

Ended up saying what the hell and dumping on in Xilonen. Got her to C4 and her weapon.

damn :o grats! her C2 is sooo good, I was tempted to pull some more but that would've been a huge mistake for me lol. Maybe on a rerun I can get some cons for her.

Yeah I'm already rethinking some of my teams with Xilonen to slot it now.

I really need to try Culver's one of these days. There's one in Austin Texas that I suggested my cousins to go to, when I visited, and then they said no and we went to Whataburger and Chick-Fila instead.

Check out the root beer if you ever do get the chance to go. I'm not a root beer fan at all but something about how they make their rb I'm a big fan of.

Finished Kinich's tribe thing, mainly felt like nonsense but "Sanka" made it all worthwhile for me. That and the 60 primos bonus for finishing it early.

I'm in the camp that adores Ajaw and finds him hilarious lol.

Lacrimosa of Dana was the first one I've played and since then I've also played Monstrum Nox, Memories of Celceta, Orgins and Ark of Napishtim.

You should check out Felghana, it's still easily my favorite Ys game.

I've already been smooching with Solas, but I swear I'm not one of the annoying shippers. Blackwall was tempting as well but I wanted to go for the (DLC spoilers) tragic romance this time.

Played the first two games for the first time last year and now I'm finally on Inq so I can be on Veilguard at launch. I'm having a lot more fun with it than I thought it'd be. The maps are pretty big and I can see why others got really tired of that but I love the environmental design a lot and I haven't gotten bored yet. Currently level 14 (dagger rogue, elf) and almost done exploring the Western Approach map and in the middle of the Here Lies the Abyss main quest.

I've loved all the games so far for the companions and world building though, those things carry hard for me despite all the game design changes between entries. Which thankfully, I actually vibe with.

I'm sure you guys can imagine how happy this made me to see today. Not only a (likely) turn-based Atelier in the same world as the gacha I don't care for but still love the design of but a return of a male protagonist!!

Nice, thanks for the crystalfly tips! I have a comfortable amount but I still have that hoarding itch and "if I stop collecting them I'll run out eventually!" so I still go and collect several times a week lol.

Pulled Kinich in 20 pulls then double checked my history and realized I was right up against hard pity anyway, I got Qiqi'd last time. Oh well, he seems cool and now I can save for Mauvika.

One thing I didn't think about until this morning, Kinich is really awesome when it comes to crystal fly hunting. Decided to use him instead when I went on my hunting rounds in Mondstadt, and any time a fly would get triggered and fly off I can just grapple up to them! Scaramouche helped with that too but a lot of time he'd make them pop out of existence due to his skill, I guess.

Also decided on a team of him/Yaoyao/Furina/Dehya. Whenever I get Baizhu I'll replace Yaoyao with him.

Good luck with Kinich, everyone! I managed to pull him with a won 50/50, he's a lot of fun to play with him grapple skating around enemies. Ajaw always makes me laugh, too. I love them.

Now to figure out a team.

On a whim I decided to do a 10 pull on the weapon banner last night since they improved the odds.

I enjoyed this movie a good amount, watched it for Jay Baruchel lol. I loved the OneRepublic song they used in the movie and the scene it was in.

Yeah, you can pick a type/main stat/two substats and use Sanctifying Elixirs to do it. Which you get from various ways each patch, one of which you can get one per patch converting level 4+ 5* artifacts for points to redeem one.

There's a limit of making one artifact per set every couple weeks, and different artifact types will have different artifact costs. According to this article, for flower/feather/sands/goblet/circlet the cost is 1/1/2/4/3.

So I'm going to be nitpicky with how and when I use mine haha.

Started to take my Mualani team out for a spin today, even though I'm not quite done upgrading talents and weapon level for her and Kachina. Team's a lot of fun, even if it isn't ideal! I definitely want to keep my eye out for a Baizhu rerun though, it feels he's important for a lot of teams I want to run where he's the only one MIA.

I'm going to have fun with the building system! Hopefully the synthesis is fun, too, I can get pretty addicted to collecting/creating.

In the context of what's going on, yeah. They acknowledge her age a ton and it's why a lot of people don't take her seriously and ties into her development. Not to mention everyone is used to being revived in the war, so many of them treat death super casually.
