I don't know if its still made or not but when I was a kid, I had a board game called Hero Quest. It was an rpg on a board game. You had a party of characters and you moved around a dungeon and rolled dice and I think collected cards for your equipment and spells. And you had a character sheet to track your gold, experience, mana and hit pointsIt is, there was a very successful kickstarter for it's revival several years back. VtM is more story and roleplay focused than D&D, combat isnt as much focus on. So I dunno what they meant.We never had any combat in those sessions I was in. Maybe they didn't do a good job as you said. | 008Zulu 05/12/24 3:49:50 AM #12 | I played a couple of games a few months back, one chief criticism the other players had was that it wasn't "story driven" enough for them. As someone who has only played D&D, I am not entirely certain what was meant by this.
We were in 19th century London, and trying to track down an assassin. We moved along at a steady pace, going from one scene to the next. It played out a lot like a D&D game. Is VTM not supposed to? --- If you're not smart enough to survive, you are basically just food for something smarter. |

Why did I stop I hear no one ask? One day I just decided I didn't like the taste anymore. Personally I am surprised I didn't get a single kidney stone during that time, or diabetes.
