Bandai Namco Pictures announced on Monday that it is producing a new anime project based on Mine Yoshizaki's Sgt. Frog (Keroro Guns) manga to celebrate the anime's 20th anniversary. (The first episode of the anime premiered on April 3, 2004.) Bandai Namco Pictures did not reveal the format of the anime, but unveiled a promotional video and visual.

Crunchyroll added the anime to its catalog beginning in 2021, and it describes the anime:

Keroro is Sergeant Frog - the leader of a platoon of warriors sent to conquer planet Earth. But when the amphibious invaders discovered how much humans enjoy dissecting their comrades, the troops were scattered, the mission was aborted, and Keroro was abandoned. Now, this once proud soldier spends more time wielding a vacuum than he does the weapons of war. It's a far cry from the glory of battle, but hey, at least he's got his own room. And though the invasion may have slowed to a hop, Sergeant Frog still occasionally yearns to overcome his karaoke addiction and reassemble his troops.

Sunrise's anime series based on based on Mine Yoshizaki's Sgt. Frog (Keroro Guns) manga ran from 2004 to 2011, and it spawned five feature films. Funimation released two "seasons" of the anime on DVD, after ADV Films had licensed but not released the anime.

Discotek licensed the anime, and its release of Sgt. Frog includes all 358 episodes in successive SD Blu-ray Disc volume releases by season, beginning in 2021, with seasons 5-7 releasing later this year.

American manga publisher Tokyopop released twenty volumes of the original manga in North America before shutting its doors in 2011.

On the construction site the blade escaped from, utility company Northwest Natural Gas was fixing a leaky gas valve, a contractor on the site told KEZI 9. The contractor, who witnessed the incident, also said the blade may have come loose from operator error.

In a statement, a communications director from Northwest Natural Gas told KEZI 9 that the incident involved a contractor at a NW Natural job site.

We are reviewing our association with this contractor, and we have removed the contractor from other work for us for now, the statement said.

Northwest Natural Gas did not immediately respond to PEOPLE's request for comment.

When stuff like that happens I wonder if they were given an earlier version of the game to use for their guide.

I distinctly recall the Official Nintendo Guide for SSB Melee had Ditto listed as a Pokemon you could summon and a number of Bonuses that were all removed from the retail version.

Acclaim's Turok 2 guide definitely did. The order of the bosses are completely different and even levels had differences. The guide even mentions that it was written before the game was finished so there might by differences.

Although their other guides were good, but Turok 2 was a mess.

Bradygames frequently had incorrect information in them. I learned to avoid them as a kid.

Prima really seemed to phone it on some guides although their Tomb Raider and Syphon Filter guides are great. They made serious mistakes like O.D.T.'s guide not only is half baked, but it lists items in wrong location or even does not list all items location. Urban Chaos guide does not even list where the skill points are in levels. Their level maps have white squares on it, and I thought that they were skill points marked, but nope they are not. Lost Odyssey guide had incorrect info.

My favorite guide definitely goes to Acclaim's Shadow Man. It a interview with the directors and even including trivia and bonus facts.

I don't know if any one remembers them, but Dimension Publishing were pretty good. Their Deathtrap Dungeon good is fantastic.

BradyGames guides were mostly high quality and excellent save for the FF IX guide.

Prima were hit or miss. They are the only company to do a guide for O.D.T. and it was flat out awful. Not only was it bare bones, but it had errors and did not even show where all items were. On the other hand their Tomb Raider guides were actually decent as were their Syphon Filter guides.

Nintendo Power Guides were fantastic!

Error1355 is back, or something!

Thunderful Group is once again back in the news today as it has been reported that the studio is selling Pumpkin Jack publisher Headup at a fraction of what it was bought for back in 2021.

Word of this sale comes to us from Gamesindustry.biz which reports that Thunderful has sold the publisher for 500,000 quite the drop from the 11 million it spent to acquire the company just three years ago.

The studio has been (re)purchased by its founder and CEO Dieter Schoeller via Microcuts Holding. Incidentally, Schoeller is the vice president of production at Thunderful. Talk about keeping your friends close, eh?

The deal has now been completed between Headup and Thunderful, though it is still dependent on the transfer of Studio Fizbin to Thunderful (acquired via Headup last year), the rewriting of three IP-related contracts and shareholder approval before it is fully finalised.

While Headup will reclaim its back catalogue of games as well as those currently in development, the sale agreement states that Thunderful is still to receive a share of up to 300k on an as-yet-unannounced title from the studios.

All of this comes as a part of Thunderful's restructuring program which was announced in January of this year and is set to affect 20% of its workforce.
