my left arm/side is so itchy. No matter how many times I try to go for lotion or tell myself I will no longer scratch it; I just keep going back to it. The itch persists despite me getting to the point of breaking through the skin and getting to the liquid-portion of my skin. I see piles of my flaky skin all around me as I claw through my arm. The smell of iron lingers around me, and yet my brain still rewards my act of temporarily satisfying the great itch. I'm in the end of busy season with no time for own personal health. I don't know if this is physical, psychological, or a mixture of both.

In general, I've always been an itchy person, but this is really concerning since my arm has had no time to recover for months now as I won't let it.

Also, I don't know why, but I've been craving some crinkle-cut fries. Culvers is the only place I know of that sells crinkles around me (and by around, I mean 30 minutes away).

Because conservatives pull out new conspiracies about how Biden and hunter are selling the country to China like daily
By the context of what October Surprise means, I would say real things that would actually sway a solid percentage of undecided or perhaps even flip enough people to vote for the other side. In that case, conspiracies that just make a pre-existing supporter go "Yep, that's why I ain't votin' for Biden/Trump" would not count as an October Surprise.

Race to the White House was a pretty good polling aggregate, even better than 538 in 2022. I like it's easy-to-read summaries.

If you haven't kept up with forecasting tools (not just race to the WH, but also 538, realclearpolitics, other betting sites), Trump has had a pretty strong lead since late last year over Biden, but Biden has been making up strong ground as of late. He has regained the national vote lead and has also flipped PA back from Republican to democrat, cutting significantly into Trump's EC lead. Wisconsin also is within earshot of flipping, which would even the race nearly again.

Meanwhile, Trump has secured the Republican nomination which will allow him to focus on his national campaign, but the pending litigation against him, both criminal and civil, is going to hinder his ability to hold as many rallies as he may have wanted to. Not to mention, as nominee, Biden can now fully redirect his campaign solely against Trump.

I think early May, Biden will have the EC lead again with the rust belt fully converting at the moment.

Nah, Mario still clears, other than Minecraft among very young gen z'ers. Halo and GoW wishes they could have a billion dollar blockbuster, hit amusement park, and a game that sold 60 million units on one platformer alone (Mario Kart 8) not to mention all of the other 10/20 million+ Mario titles on the Switch. Mario's outreach is definitely beyond video-games, which none of them really have at the moment. Wouldn't call the Halo show a rousing success.

And strangely enough, not even stuffed crust, but just a standard 'za.

I'm going on the longest extreme calorie-deficit diet of my life (over 4 months). There have been a few weeks here and there I wasn't the best at keeping up. Feb 15 - March 15 was noticeably bad where I lost 1 pound only and was a little meh on the weight lifting routine, but I have gotten back into the groove of things. Let myself go and with being in public accounting, it has been hard to motivate myself with food being ever-present. Finally just went all in late November, and the weight loss has been substantial. Over 50 pounds, losing nearly 25% (hopefully will hit that threshold during my next weigh-in on April 15), but I still have 30 more pounds to go before I can feel fully satisfied for a person at my height. I'm 6 pounds shy (as of 3/31) of finally being at a "healthy weight" which will also hopefully be hit at 4/15.

This being busy season for us public accountants (Jan - April) might have been the worst time to do something like this, but I just gotta keep going strong! My weight lifting progress has stalled, not unexpectedly as I'm clearly not consuming enough protein to keep up with my body's needs for growth, but improvement is still being felt. I'm very confident when I do my next one-rep max check; I will have hit the next 10-pound barrier threshold which is always fun!

All of this said just to say going ham on a pizza right now just would feel so nice! Technically could work pizza in, but it's just not that filling for the amount of calories it is, unfortunately! From a practical point of view of fulfilling my hunger needs before my craving needs, pizza is a hard sell.

When I get paid next, I am going to buy (ethically-sourced) cocoa pods and make my own chocolate for the first time, though! Wouldn't it be fun if a few of us did this together and posted our updates in a thread? I think it could make for a charming time honestly. Chocolate runs into the same problem as pizza for me, but at least dark chocolate in small quantities has valid nutritional purpose.

Many of Biden's "old man" moments are moments I have, which is slightly annoying to see made a big deal out of. Taking a pause to speak, slurring, etc.; it's a normal part of speech for some of us. I'm sure his mental capabilities are greatly diminished at his old age, but he still seems to know what he needs to know.

Trump has had some legit "old man" moments. Even if you want to give him the benefit that he actually isn't, I don't know if "he's just too ignorant to remember Haley isn't Pelosi" is really something you want to defend.

Your favorite childhood memory?
Oh boy, you are basically asking me to pick my favorite child! I don't know if its my favorite for sure, but the first memory that seems to pop up when it comes to just overall "good days" was Pi Day 2014. I remember learning 628 digits of pi for this occasion, and something about that day just had overall pleasant vibes. My dad and I went to Pizza Hut and sat down to eat there, and while nothing special, the mood of the day really uplifted me.

Getting my Wii U Christmas 2012 was special to me as well as I really thought I wasn't getting it until the end (obviously besides the games of course) since the box for it was smaller than I thought it would be. Another one is when my mom randomly got me Super Paper Mario around the time it came out! I remember being cringe screaming around the house that she got me it.

My friends and I would play on this large dirt hill from construction when my neighborhood was still new at the time, and that was always a blast.

dub? never heard of it.
I don't know; I actually think it's pretty good as someone who doesn't have nostalgia for it. Again, first few episodes were a little rough, but in a little bit of a charming way, but I think the cast actually did do a good job, especially Tiffany.

Was the creator's reaction good?
It was his personal quest for years and then some other dude just takes it out the same way Akuma took out Bison.
Yeah; they seemed in good spirits.

It was beaten again yesterday; if you want to talk about feeling bad, a cheese was discovered, and while still hard, it cuts out having to get any of the red coins: https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=HTbEoZonl9A

I just learned the movie is playing in theaters. Unfortunately, it's only subbed. Even if they released it dubbed, I'd imagine it would be the Netflix dub since the ADV dub isn't really something the creator likes due to the feeling of localization changes.

Plus, I feel like these type of movies probably draw in obnoxious theater audiences.

Was debating if I should watch the netflix dub since I heard the VA work was on a more technical level, better, and the script was closer to the source material. Heard it had poor localization work, though, and sounded more stiff as a whole, so I decided, screw it, I'm down bad for 90's dub work. The first few episodes had noticeable, ehhh, strange "performances" but I do think they all eventually settled into their roles, especially by the time Asuka came into the show. Speaking of which, I think Tiffany Grant was definitely the star of the dub and I would go so far as to say why the West took onto Asuka so highly compared to how Japan originally preferred other characters (although I hear even they now prefer Asuka over any character).

Overall great dub imo, and a show that left me self-reflecting, which is the mark of any show that I end up feeling strongly about.

Baseball has me a little down after the Dodgers offseason.

Feels like this is the worst the competitive spirit of the game has been in a long time after the way the Ohtani deal was structured.
