I rage-quit last night in the stupid ant section. HK never made me rage-quit, not even my first time through Deepnest.

It wasnt that the enemies were too hard, it was the stupid diagonal dash bounces that chipped away at my health, and I couldn't heal because healing is all or nothing now and there are no benches anywhere... it just wasn't fun. It felt unfair. HK, even at its hardest, still felt fair.

I'll give Silksong another chance tonight and hope this ant area is just an anomaly of astonishingly bad game design.

It is crazy how much we diverge lol. Especially on things like difficulty, you list Gravity Beetle as one of the harder ones and that guy never hits me, but buster only Armored Armadillo kicks my ass. It has already fallen a bit and may fall further, but hey I'll take it for an initial ranking. I'm no music expert, but my understanding is that nightcore is supposed to take existing songs and remix them, typically by speeding them up around 35%. I've discovered this really appeals to me more than the originals.

Having said that... all the songs on the channel I linked are originals as far as I can tell (there are other remix videos but I don't listen to those). I guess nightcore has grown to the point that some people just make original songs at that tempo? I dunno. All I know is that Luna is one of my favorite artists on that underwatched channel and I'm glad you didn't hate the song.
